This is very interesting to say the least. I am an Australian and have a lot of sexual experience with kangaroos. I have often wondered why they have such a weird appearance.

To all the people that think kangaroos are purely vegetarians think again. When I was young we had a pet kangaroo, and it used to love sausages and mince meat. Especially mine.

Just for humans it makes sense not to kill other humans (of their own group/country), because they help each other to survive.

One example:

What was the invasion in Iraq? Good or bad? Bad, because many children were bombed and died and US-companies just tried to get access to the oil.
But on the other hand side, US-oil workers also have families and children. And these will survive better and will not have to move into slums, if 'daddy' has work, because there is cheap oil available. So, for these children, it's 'good'. But now, Kurds got (most) of the oil and again it's good for them, but bad for others. At least, some Turks will again be angry about that fact. So, what is it? Good or bad? That's what I meant with 'viewpoint'. I should use the word 'party' or 'group'.

But soldiers have to kill and most people and institutions accept that as a means of 'self-defence'. But it doesn't say: "Do not kill, given that it's not self-defence" It just says: "Do not kill".
The problem of the law #5 is, that it's too short-minded and does not take situations into account, where you ca not follow that law in defence of yourself or of others.

I'm more and more watching the discovery channel with increasing joy. And there was a family of lions described with young ones. And there was not enough meat during the summer months. Then suddenly a lonly lioness came and it turned out shw had abducted some of the offspring and killed them. She was a loner and lacked the social bahavior. But the rest of the family protected their young ones and quickly drove her out. She is the perfect example or a murderer. But with that behavior she will always stay alone and will have less chances to get food, because hunting alone is harder. But some young ones survived and now all the food was enough for them to survive. So, some died for others to survive.
So, what's that story like? Is shows, that absolute values like #5 do not really exist. They depend on the group and even within a group they can vary. But sometimes. it's better to work together, than to engage into any conflict, because it gives more chances to survive for all.

Now, you ask why you can not kill gays/lesbians. They also add an important aspect to society. They are a regulatory step in society and just as important as straights.
