That's not a measurement, that's a calculation. With a small mistake in it, but I will forgive you there as it is irrelevant here. What exactly did you measure and how did you measure it? Without actual facts there can be no conclusions. Methodology does not equal results.

If a I take a six foot long stick, hold it next to a man, and the top of the stick is the same height as the man, I know the man is six feet tall. That is the same way mars and the other planets in the upper firmament can be measured. Mars is about the same as a dime, the moon, a quarter and the sun, a bit larger than a nickel. There is no need to sleigh of hand or misdirection. God made things plain and simple.

We understand here to the sun is 1 AU. We need to find out Mar's average distance from the Sun using the Kepler method. We know Mar orbit is 688 days, therefore, we can apply the Kepler Method. If you understand the Kepler Method, you understand how to measure it.

Also our main reason for needing to do this is for the human race and civilization to survive.

This is the time it takes for the Earth and Mars to go from lining up with the Sun to lining up with the Sun, again.
