I appear to have been blinded by my faithlessness into not seeing that there were three other pages of posts.

However, in reading those three pages of posts (glorious revelation!), I'm shocked by the animosity toward unbelievers. Shouldn't you be trying to help people see the light, rather than condemning them for being trapped in darkness?

Point to the beauty of a perfect sunset, or the miracle of a child; speak of God's love, and redemption, and forgiveness. You close the doors of your church when you throw stones at us, and send us not to God but deeper into the embrace of that godlessness you so revile - because at least in that lack of faith, there is no hatred either.

Doesn't the Bible say to honor and love your fellow man?

When I say "true agnostic", I mean someone who embodies fully what it means to be agnostic. This means always looking for more answers, not taking anything for granted, not being complacent in accepting any one ideology. It's a full open-mindedness, and a search for the complete universal truth. It's a search that, I find, is somewhat limited by a strict following of any scripture, whether it be the Bible, Torah, Qu'ran, or fortune cookie.

I would say that it's very much like being a devout flip-flopper, except that I wouldn't attach such a negative connotation to it. It means hearing all sides of the "cosmic argument" and then drawing one's own conclusion - which may be wrong, but at least it's coming from within oneself. If God created Man in His Image, then I see no greater worship than for my beliefs to come from myself, as a reflection of God - because, if God created me, then when my beliefs come from me they are actually coming from God as well.

I'm not sure what you're driving at, but I'm trying to get you to see that what you're doing is detrimental to your cause. If you want people to see the light of God, why do you resort to violence? What does it achieve?
