I'm an atheist because there is no empirical evidence for God. Sorry guys. I know you think there is evidence. But some of the reasons you cite are silly. Why does a remote fit in my hand? Because a human being designed it to fit in my hand.

Know that being an atheist is not the end of the world. There's a lot in the world to love, like your fellow man. I can't see a lot of you gaining the respect of your fellow man, the way you treat those with differing beliefs.

I can't see a lot of you gaining the respect of your fellow man, the way you treat those with differing beliefs.

We tell the Truth because it's the Truth, not because we want respect from people who will go to Hell. We only need respect from God because only God has sent his only begotten son to die for our sins.

But... maybe you can point us in the direction of someone else who died for our sins and then we will worry about the respect of that person as well.

For now, only Jesus Christ has died for our sins, so we only need respect from Jesus Christ.

Why does God exist? Because the Bible says so! 2nd Timothy 3:16 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness"

So, now that you have your empirical evidence for God you can stop acting silly and start kneeling down and praying for forgiveness.

Why do Atheists claim there is no God? Look around people, despite what you claim the proof is ALL around you. Everything on the Earth was created by God not to mention the Holy Bible tells that God created everything including Man & Woman. If everybody were atheists and nobody believed in Hell the world would end. The fear of Hell is the only thing that keeps people from murdering people and raping their corpses. Actually I am an atheist. I was quite curious to see what constitutes "Creation Science."

I noticed the poll referred to atheists as those who hate god. Actually the whole definition of atheism is a lack of belief.

Friend, try to look at it logically. It says in the Bible that God created the world. Now, if God was lying when He wrote the Bible, and He didn't really create the world, then it wouldn't exist. However, the world does exist, exactly like the Bible says it does, thus proving that the Bible is true.
