Hey there fellow Christians.

For a while now i ahve been wondering, everyone on here seems to rebut with - 'There is no proof that the bible isn't the truth', and so that makes me think, where is the proof that the bible IS the truth. Im on the fence here.

I need some inspiration to believe in God almighty. Thankyou in advance for anything you guys can come up with

The burden of proof is on the non-believer.

No scientist can disprove the existence of GOD, and all scientific evidence points to 'something' else - an unknown factor, 'something' that put it all in motion, 'something' to begin it, 'something' that was there before everything. There are so many gaps in logic that have scientists puzzled. So many unanswered questions. So many missing links.

Even the greatest minds of the modern age cannot fathom what it could be, and show no signs of coming closer to being able to fathom it. The Big Bang theory is close to being written off - scientists now think they might have been wrong all along. And the greatest minds of history were men of Faith, from now, through the Renaissance and Age of Enlightenment, right back to the Old Testament - the word of GOD. Why do the enlightened embrace Faith so freely, and yet the unenlightened trash and internet trolls are so eager to discredit it?

All ancient civilizations believed in supreme beings, and they all share remarkable similarities. How could these people, before the age of radio and TV, before the age of phones and internet, how could they believe in such similar things? They never even met each other. They never even knew each other existed. How did they communicate these ideas? Some even almost got it correct, almost as correct as the written Bible. They were simple people who knew no better, but now we have the wisdom of the ages, and the word of GOD brought by the Prophets. We have no excuse for not believing.

And how can Christianity be so easy to believe in? How do people so willingly convert? Even believers of false gods and idols, even they are eager to embrace the True Faith once they have seen the Light. Why? Because it makes sense! It all fits into place perfectly. The Bible is infallible, as only a work of the divine could be. When you read the Bible, and I mean when you really read it, you can tell in your heart of hearts that it is no mere work of man. Listen to your heart, because it rarely lies to you. This is no work of a poet, no work of an artist, no work of fiction - this is something bigger. Bigger than you or I.

You are afraid, and I understand. You are afraid to surrender yourself so completely to GOD's will. You are afraid to believe in something greater than yourself. I am no longer afraid. I am a man of Faith. For the sake of all, I offer Him this sacrifice: my life, my body, my heart, my soul, my spirit. For Faith is what we believe it to be. Love, meaning, power. Light shines bright through the darkness, the world begins anew. Life returns to how it should be. Life with GOD has no holes of logic, no unexplained phenomenon, no secrets, no confusion, no lies, no fooling yourself, no trying to hammer square pegs in round holes.

Embrace The LORD. Forever, you shall see a bright future, a happiness, enlightenment. Do not fear Him, for He loves you. Never forget, the sacrifice of CHRIST who gave his life to save your world. The world could never owe Him enough.

We humble people have limited capabilities. If you really read the entire KJV1611 Holy Bible you will notice it is so perfect, so extremely consistent, so crystal clear, that no ordinary person could ever have created it. So the sheer quality of the book proves that it is created by someone with capabilities far beyond that of a human being.

Since the Holy Bible clearly could not have been written by a mere mortal and also clearly states to be the word of God: 2 Timothy 3:16 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" logic dictates there can be only one conclusion. God exists and the Holy Bible is His word!

I think your problem is that you did not actually read the entire Holy Bible. Your opinion of the Holy Bible is based on hearsay. If you actually paid some attention during that education of yours instead of masturbating all the time you would have learned that you have to research the facts before you draw your conclusion. The facts here being the contents of the Holy Bible.

Well what is it going to be? Ignorance or enlightenment? Heaven or hell ?

Hi there, this is my first post on this forum so I'm sorry if this post is bad.

Okay, I have a question I would like to ask to all of you and I would hopefully like to recieve an honest, genuine answer.

I'm an atheist who respects Christians with their faith and I don't question their beliefs. I simply live my life with good morals I have acquired from my parents, I would like to hope I'm a good person who tries to do good deeds and not harm anyone, and generally be a nice guy.

Would you say that I'm a bad person due to my atheist views, so long as I keep them to myself and respect others beliefs, along with my morals?

Being a "nice guy" isn't enough to avoid eternal damnation. Please take a look at THIS sermon on the subject.

Please make a thread of your own in the "Introductions" section of the forum, so that we can properly greet you. Tell us about yourself, your church, and how you came to find Jesus.

And if you're here to flame us, better take a look at THIS before making an even bigger ass out of yourself.

GOD gave you free will so you could walk this Earth and so that you might enlighten yourself. This also means you may choose to walk as damned, or with GOD.

You renounce GOD. You do not believe He exists. What use would you be in Heaven? Where else would you go, at the end of your days on this Earth? You wish to have your cake and eat it too? It doesn't work that way.

The Kingdom of Heaven is not for tourists. Make your choice.

I find it incredibly offensive that you addressed me as it when I asked you politely not too. I'm not touchy, but I get the impression that the majority of the people in this forum feel they're better than me, one of which is you.

I never claimed to be better than you. The difference between you and me is that Jesus died for my sins, but not for yours, as you have rejected Him. As such, I am righteous in God's Eyes, while you are not.

And are you saying that you aren't a boy? Did you lie in your introduction thread? Jesus hates liars, boy kid!

I see where you're coming from, but as I don't believe in heaven and hell, your opinion doesn't affect me as it were. Also, I've learnt in my religious studies subject at school that God is all-loving, well I thought that was correct. If he does exist, I would have thought he would have offered me a place in heaven rather than a murderer. I've done nothing wrong, so . I expect to die and thats it, simply the end of my life.

Of course you may, Miles. It's Amos. However, for the unsaved people on this forum, I prefer mr. Disciple, or Brother Disciple if you are a visiting Christian. Only True Christians(tm) normally address me with my given name here.
