To this day, the animators have had to be careful with the lighting they use in the show. The incident caused any new episodes to be postponed until five months later. As for the pokemon franchise being "pro-darwin" or promoting witchcraft. No such thing has been confirmed by Nintendo or Game Freak- the companies in charge of the franchise. Thus, I have no comment on those two points.

      Re: Ugh... Pokemon

most people I know played Pokémon as kids, and are quite familiar with the newer games, it's still kind of a big thing, the show started 10 years ago I think and is still running, and a new game is coming out in September.

I've read in an article that the Pokémon are modeled after animals, mystical creatures such as unicorns, and youkai (Japanese demons, and shintoist characters) so that part is true I suppose, but I played the games, and there's nothing evil about them! the morale of the game is to work hard, get strong and overcome all challenges.

Most people I know didn't. The difference between your generation and mine is a few million people in prison today that weren't there when my generation grew up.

This game isn't morally neutral. This is evil. The facts bear this out. Open your eyes, seek out the Truth(c).

Not only that, but the monsters are depicted as Devils and dragons. Anything outside the realm of God's original creation is demonic. These monsters use "special powers" which could induce kids into thinking that witchcraft accepted.

It's called IMAGINATION, a gift that Our Father gave us! This sort of thing is used for great purposes, such as Narnia, retelling the story of Jesus in a way that will get children excited. If you really think this will "ruin" children or whatever, parents should look into it first, and talk over it with their kids.

Where does the Bible say that God gave us imagination, or even that He wants us to use it? Chapter and verse, please.

Creativity and imagination is what makes us who we are, without it even some biblical things wouldn't exist, like the bible itself! If people's brains didn't work the way they did, nobody would have invented the darn PAPER that they use for Bibles! Our mind is a gift, so use it. Oh yeah, and in NUMEROUS parts of the Bible, Jesus told many stories (or more specifically parables) Pokèmon are supposed to be animals anyways, they're just harmless, cuddly fluff balls that show no resemblance to demons at all.

Let me see if I am getting all this. God couldn't write the Bible or invent paper, and Pokémon was on the Ark?

Oh, well says the guy using a South Park gif. Pokémon is harmless, and it has good morals for kids about friendship and such. Don't get started saying "friendship doesn't matter" or whatever, because I know it isn't the most important thing in the world. South Park, on the other hand, is packed with murder, violence, blasphemy, and tons of other stuff far worse than lightning-bending stuffed animals.

I find the idea of capturing wild animals and forcing them to live tiny enclosures and fighting repellent. Why do you hate God's creatures?

I love animals in fact, but they aren't the creatures created in the image and likeness of God. Caging a human being is far worse than caging an animal, and sometimes it's the right thing to do. Are you saying that we should let animals get jobs, buy things, get married, things that only beings with intelligence should do? I do not hate God's creatures, first of all I am one. I have to keep my dogs outside at night so they don't wander around the house and do their business on the floor, so does that mean I hate God's creatures? You clearly do, because earlier, you called one of His creatures a retard.
