  • Benedict shows true leadership.

Going all the way back to his days as a youth leader in his native land, His Holiness has always shown what integrity and sound knowledge of scripture can do to make the lives of so many so much better.

No doubt he had a few heart to hearts with The Big Guy and has once again made the kind of decision only a Godly and holy man like he can make.

All of us here at Vatican City wish him the best and pray his last days on earth are joyful as he prepares for eternal salvation at the side of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

As a token of our collective appreciation, he has been given a choice of a few Miters, a selection of red shoes and a closet full of Popely Frocks to keep into his retirement.

I might point out that he will continue to maintain his Vatican City residence and all of the diplomatic perks associated with a sovereign nation. Given the frail nature of his health, his Holiness will not be flying into and or through any jurisdictions where unscrupulous members of various legal communities might harass this kindly old saint-in-waiting about things he clearly knew nothing about.

Bless you, my curious kitty cats,
    Father Mo

    .
    A Cardinal in the making.

And an altar boy or two?

You'd think that if the Babylonian whore "church" were actually of God, He could give the unholy "father" the strength to stay the course. How hard could that be, given what He did for Abraham and Sarah?
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

Maybe Ratzinger found Jesus and got saved eventually. Why would a sect-leader otherwise step down voluntarily?
Matt 5:17-20 "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven:..."

Has he never heard of Philippians 4:13? Or Galatians 6:9?

Jesus doesn't like a quitter. But then again, he's going to Hell anyway. Once you've peed all over the Bible for decades, what difference does another infraction make to God?

To be honest, I think his Christman Eve message against homer marriage was just not strong enough--didn't measure up to what was needed.

When the Vatican wheeler dealers saw how Jesus based Landover Baptist is they thought, "Let's get someone in here who can do what they do, put the hammer down on homers."
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

Do you think these guys will be entertainers at his Retirement Party?

Granted, they're too old for someone like Ratzinger, who likes them young, but still, they're half naked at least.

Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Only after Landover threatens to publish the pictures, did Pope Benedict XVI announce he is to resign.
Pope Benedict said he "had to recognise my incapacity to adequately fulfil the ministry entrusted to me"
You see, Old Ratslinger can't even bring himself to give the reason.

If you are a True Christian™ God is on your side and your prayers will be answered.

                Oh joyous day!

Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.
