I was a christian for fifteen years of my life, and one day, I woke up and realized that all this praying is for nothing, all this worshiping is for nothing, I had nothing. God had already 'shuned' me from his world, why keep praying to him? what has God ever done for me in those fifteen years? All I wanted was my family back, and do you think I got it? no, God doesn't listen to everyone, and I'm part of those people who he doesn't listen to, maybe because I'm not popular within my town, or i dont have enough money to donate to the church. All I wanted was love, and I never got it, how do you explain that? I wasted over 2/3rds of my life on God, I've decided to quit, and since then, i've been much happier.

You know, that sounds very familiar to my own story. I also grew up in a religious community (as a matter of fact, in Freehold itself, I've attended the Landover Baptist church till I was seventeen), but I've stepped out of it when the woman-hate and domestic abuse became too much for me.

I'm a wiccan now, I've discovered that that religion is way more friendly. Though I do not understand why the Mother Goddess has not blessed you with friends, I hope she will make you happier soon. You are a nice person, and deserve to have a happy life. Take care.

It never cease to amaze me how ignorant people can be. Have you ever read a Harry Potter book? They can actually be very moral. If you let it.
