To me -as a finn- especially the times of paganism, civil war (with fratricide) and serfdom are nothing to be proud of

That's one of my favourite's too (although I'm more an OT type of guy myself). I particularly like the 'seek and you shall find' part it has served me well. It makes a refreshing change not to have a self professed pagan come here to flame us and spew abuse at us.

To be honest, I'm not sure. I just call them freakish-Satan-things.

This is just a cartoon that is full of old wife's tales that people have passed on for generations. To think that any parent would be evoking the devil by telling a few stories is beyond me.

I grew up in England, in the 80's this was on the TV it was great even though it has strange endings it certainly taught me more about life than Sponge Bob ever did.

To be honest the people who created this (orginal moomin series) were masters of kids TV story telling far more intriguing and interesting than the rubbish on TV today.

Before you start bleating from the scriptures, I am Church of England and yes i do believe in the Lord.

I know these sick books and animations are not in wider attentions in America, but because of recent events you should know little about them. Moomins are mainly curse of Finland (where they have turned children to Satan for nearly 70 years) and northern Europe but as they are really depraved it is really not a surprise that they have (especially animated series) drawn attention of the Japs.
