I have to completely disagree. If you followed the case, you’d know there was no time or cause of death. No witnesses. No anything. All of the evidence was circumstantial. It was powerful circumstantial evidence, but circumstantial none the less. The jury had to be sure, beyond a reasonable doubt, that this mother killed her daughter. There was reasonable doubt. The prosecution’s case was not strong enough. In the end, you can’t convict someone just because the idea of what could’ve possibly happened is repulsive. You have to convict based on the cold, hard facts. This case was lacking in those.

The prosecution failed to remove any reasonable doubt, and they were not strong enough. You have to have SUBSTANTIAL evidence that links the mother to the death of her child. The reason why our justice system is the way it is is because it protects the innocents from being condemned. Even if Caylee Anthony killed her daughter, the concept of reasonable doubt still remains. If it is not eliminated, you cannot convict Anthony of murder. Plain and simple. Even if she did, there is no way to prove it.

You need evidence, and it was lacking.
