King David was a most noteworthy man who was elevated from a humble shepherd to king of Israel! He was also the man who killed Goliath (1 Samuel 17), because of his (i.e. David’s - not Goliath’s) great faith in God. David also penned many wonderful Psalms and other Holy Spirit inspired writings contained within the pages of The Holy Bible. On the other hand, King David sinned with adultery and murder!
Now I am not suggesting this scenario:
However, if we are Saved, we are always Saved and our Salvation relies upon our acceptance of Christ as our Savior. If we are saved, we cannot sin.
Murder and adultery are abominable in those who are not Saved but, in the same way as Jesus will return and slaughter the unbelievers, and in the same way as He forgave the woman taken in adultery, so there is no sin in the Saved.
David is in Heaven – his life was dedicated to God.
Where will you be going?
