I joined this forum in the hopes of having interesting conversations with a variety of people with different ideas than me. I never expected to be insulted, condemned, and attacked in response to everything I say.

I haven't see all your posts, but I believe you came in here with the idea that True Christians are like . Even though you may not say "you are stupid" out loud, it may be implied in the way you approach a subject.

Generally, when you go into a new forum on the internet, you should first read the welcome guide and other threads to get an idea of the community. You may have stepped on people's toes without realizing it. For example, every day there are dozens of inarticulate hateful teens who come in here to mock God. So some people may not be very receptive to someone "wanting to have a conversation". Usually this ends with being yelled at.

Give it some time and look around. This is not a forum for the easily offended, but for ones who can handle The Truth.

I'm sorry to disappoint you, sir, but I didn't come here to convert to your religion, and I'm not going to convert. I'm here, simply stated, to talk with people. I'm not offended by any of the abuse or name-calling I have received; I simply wondered if there was a reason for it.

The reason for it is to wake you up to the fact that you are going to Hell and there is still a chance to avoid it. Tough love is the best type of love in an emergency, and you, Sir, are in an emergency!
