Why does it matter? Not all alternative music is bad. If your really that worried about it, get him an acoustic guitar.

I don't believe Bach or Monteverdi were Satanists. In case you don't know what an Oratorio is, it's a large-scale sacred work for full orchestra and chorus. Essentially, a Holy Opera. A Cantata is a smaller version of this. Look up Bach's Sleeper's Wake.

You seem to be having trouble understanding English. It is not the music which is worshipping Satan, but (in some cases) the composers or those who have transcribed pieces for the guitar.

Metal-heads, catholics, overt satanists, atheists and heathens in general ALL WORSHIP SATAN whether they know it or not. There is not very much early music that doesnt fit into that category - Dr Bull perhaps, Orlando Gibbons? Giles Farnaby? all pretty unlikely. Certainly no Italians of the period would have been able to avoid satanic rituals 24/7 papist filth to a man (or maybe closet atheists).

Compositions by Byrd (catholic) or transcriptions by Francis Tregian (jailed papist) are compositions/transcriptions done by Satan.

But even so, the music itself is neutral. Its effect on humans is the problem. Listening to anything written (or transcribed) by catholic perverts is risky. You might as well be a trance medium and hock it down the docks.
