God may or may not exist, however should it exist does it (I use it because theoretically it is not man nor woman but it is an entity) does god really want us to go to church every Sunday to hear about how we are going to die and burn in hell. Does god not want us to enjoy the gift of life that it has bestowed upon us? Be that chain smoking, masturbation, premarital sex, porn, booze and drugs? Life is made to enjoy for it may be the only one we have.

How can one be sure that we are in the right religion? You can follow every single thing that your bible says (including the stuff that contradicts the other stuff) and when the end finally comes, you are either left to sit in a pit of worms, or sent to hell because "hey, the guys you were bashing had it right the whole time!"
