One should never just obey something, there is always something to be questioned. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't your god allow us to have a free will? Since I haven't seen any form of evidence that there may be a higher power, please try to convince me with something that makes sense.

Think of it this way:

You can choose to obey the speed limit, or you can choose to recklessly speed through a residential neighborhood at 100MPH. Yes?

And if you are caught doing so, you will get a ticket, or perhaps have your driver's license taken away. These are the consequences of your freely-chosen actions.

God presented His Law in the Bible. You can choose to obey it or not.

If you choose not to obey it, God WILL catch you. There's no "if". He knows what you will do before you decide, since He knows the future.

The consequence for disobedience is an eternity being burned alive in God's Lake of Fire. .

I was arguing about adultery and about 'good' and 'evil' in principle. I tried to show, that adultery - seen as evil - is not really evil depending on the viewpoint.

Good: Obedience to God.

Evil: Disobedience to God.

That's it. The only "good" that a human can do is to obey God. The only "evil" is to disobey God.

The constructs you're jabbering about are flawed human relativism, having nothing whatsoever to do with God's objective morality. And your jabbering has not yet provided "absolute proof that God does not exist", which is the subject of this thread.

I can personally say that I do not obey God and I don't feel like lots of bad things happen to me. I am happy with my life as it is and I'm sure it will not get better by changing my mind.

Spending eternity being burned alive in God's Lake of Fire for disobeying Him may be a bit of a disappointment for you, but it is your own choice.

"The evidence for God is the Bible" I strongly disagree with this, because there is too much about that book to be questioned. at first, since it has been translated in many languages, many times, one can never actually say what is meant by the original texts. You can't simply translate something if you don't know every single meaning of a sentence and this is impossible with a book as the bible since it can be interpetated in many ways. Second thing I'd like to say about it, is, how do you know that the bible is not just written by some kind of mormon who just wanted to say some crazy things. Adolf Hitler wrote a book, and it became popular to many people. What if I personally go out on the streets tomorrow, running around, yelling I am the son of God? Would you believe me now? You wouldn't would you, why would you believe someone who did it 2012 years ago? It's not that hard to convince someone who is ignorant if you add some nice words to it.

For these reasons I would also like to question why you believe something if there is no prove to it. Let me compare the whole religion idea with a magic trick. I am holding a deck of cards and allow you to pick one. After you did this, I tell you which one it is, while I haven't seen the card. You might be wondering how I knew that. I tell you it's "magic". It's not very convincing, since you know I'm just a normal person. You know I can't do magic, so you will not believe me. But exactly the opposite is what you do by believing in a God. Someone tells you there is a God, and you believe them just because you don't know the answer. I do not know many things but I am not making things up to get the answer. I am not believing it is "magic" just because I don't know what the answer exactly is.
