This is indeed great news, Brother G. Unfortunately, it's probably just temporary. However, while it lasts, my company plans to make the most of this time period to prove how useless bureaucratic regulations interfere with the Godly capitalist system.

For example, now that the communist EPA has shut down, this would be an excellent time to empty all those holding tanks at our chemical and plastics factories on the shore of the Gulf of Mexico. Let me emphasize that there is absolutely no threat to public safety - in fact, we produced a study which showed that these chemicals are good for people because it kills bacteria in the water.


Some call it "dioxin." We call it "life!"

The EPA also forced us into a homo-green used-tire recycling project, which I think we can finally lay to rest at the bottom of the ocean.

And now that the FDA has shuttered its doors, this is a good time for us to pick up some great cheap vegetables from organic farms near Fukushima. We'll be selling these in the healthfood section of Wal-Mart.

Of course, essential government services that protect national security - like privatized prisons run by my company - will remain fully funded during the shutdown period. The necessary revenue will come from an emergency tax imposed on prisoners, which they can pay through "community service."

I barely got any sleep and have been inundated with calls this morning. All I can say is, I really hope our True Christian™ representatives who have been waiting for such a glorious opportunity can seize the day to really start effecting the changes God wants.

The success politically for Republicans is becoming more evident all the time.

We all know the pattern. First, people are upset and our Party polls badly. That's where we are just now.

But, as soon as people see there is less government they will realize they have more opportunities--government stifling of their natural ambitions is gone. At that moment, the public will come over to the Republican Party in droves.

We need to order more folding chairs right now.

Friends the US government may rise again AS THE CHRISTIAN GOVERNMENT WE've ALWAYS DREAMED OF! Just as Jesus was crucified by Jews and Romans, our government was crucified by Jews and Robamas! Exactly. Shady places like museums and art galleries are good for nothing anyway, and who needs a passport agency - as if there were any people who would actually want to leave the best country on earth! Here in my part of Michigan, I don't know anybody who has traveled more far away than Detroit or Chicago. I hear you don't even need a passport to go to Windsor, but I wouldn't dare to go into Canadian wilderness. (When I want to see how a third world country looks like, I just go to downtown Detroit).
