This is a documentary about the Phelps family, head of the Westboro Baptist Church. It is split into 8 Youtube videos. I plan to watch all of these parts and post my comments and thoughts on them.

Thoughts on Part 1:

These people are ashamed to be Americans. How could they be ashamed to be part of God's favorite country? Sure, America is going the wrong way, what with our laws being governed by documents other than the 1611 KJV Authorized Holy Bible, but that doesn't mean it's not better than all the other heathen countries.

Where is this woman's husband? She should not be the head of the house, as per Ephesians 5:22

Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord

When asked whether homersexurality goes against the teachings of the Bible, she can not produce scripture to show that it is. Clearly, she hasn't been studying her 1611KJV Bible enough and is therefore not a True Christian™.

At 6:18, there is a woman wearing pants. This is unacceptable, as per Deuteronomy 22:5

The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.


I am aware that the Landover Baptist Church considers WBC to be a sister church, but from what I've seen so far, it seems as if WBC is full of hellbound heathens. They are not following the Word of God.

PART 2:

"to help her run the ministry, Shirley relies on her two eldest daughters, Megan and Bekah."

This raised an alarm. Does not the Bible state

Both girls are wearing shorts. Again, Deuteronomy 22:5, people!

At 1:57, the girl is wearing bracelets. At 2:11, the girl's hair is seen to be braided. This goes against the following passage:

In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; (1 Timothy 2:9)

They haven't had boyfriends because they are "not about serving themselves in this life"? How about because fornication is a sin? Why didn't they mention that?

At 3:23, there is what appears to be a mongoloid.

For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous,

Or a man that is brokenfooted, or brokenhanded,
Or crookbackt, or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish in his eye, or be scurvy, or scabbed, or hath his stones broken; No man that hath a blemish of the seed of Aaron the priest shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire: he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God. (Leviticus 21:18-21)

That pretty much speaks for its self.

Phelps' family, who would hate good Christians like that? Sure they have some liberal ideas but to say people hate them is a little extreme.

They think all people who are proud to be american go to hell and are fags. They think in fact all people will go to hell, unless they follow their god. They would say even you go to hell.

So according to you people who follow the Holy Bible go to hell. If that is the case then what do people in your opinion have to do to go to Heaven? And how are they supposed to know what to do to go to Heaven?

They did say that they are the only people who will ever go to heaven and that if any other church would preach the true word of the lord they'd knew, but they know of no church like this. So unless you belong to THEIR comunity you go to hell. Nice to see you support that.

God made clear instructions, the Holy Bible, telling us what to do if we want to go to Heaven. The choice is ours. And the alternative is indeed hell.

I believe them to be incorrect on several counts, so what they think about who gets saved is irrelevant. They're mostly right, but clearly they do not know of LBC.

I need to clarify this. Westboro Baptist Church is NOT a sister church to Landover Baptist Church. While there are some things we agree with, we consider them to be far too liberal and wishy-washy for our True Christian(tm) standards.
