    Re: The future Mrs Johnnyboy

    Unlike some...
my parents love me from how I am.

They know that I'm not 5 anymore
and that they can't dictate my life.
I don't depend on them and therefore
they cannot say anything to stop me
    doing what I want.

I don't think they do love you at all, otherwise they would help you to find the pathway to The Lord and prevent you from harming yourself.

Tell us, does your mother wrap up your lunch in a map? Have you ever returned home to find the house has been sold? Have your parents ever changed all the locks whilst you were out?

There may be clues if you have answered "Yes" to any of the questions.

Man, this post brings back tough memories. I was in the hospital as a 18 year old kid. I was there for two months. I came 'home' to find the house empty. It took me three months to find where they moved to. The first words out of my mothers mouth were "Oh my God, he found us". Since then, I have read the Bible, followed His words and now, my parents and I are very close in the heart though not in distance.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

          Let me see.

          NO.

For one my parents didn't want me to move out,
cos me mam was so worried that she'll miss me too much. >.>

And I live about a 15min drive from my parents, and me mam comes to visit me all the time. She's dreading the day I'm moving further away as it'll be harder for her to travel to see me >w<
So no. My parents love me. And the love me for how I am now.
I don't need to change for their acceptance.

Anna, you sound like you have a lot of problems in your life. All the crazy clothes and big glasses hide your face because you are afraid to show the world who you truly are. Deep down inside you feel worthless and unloved...

But guess, what? You are loved! Jesus loves you! He wants you to accept Him as your savior. He wants you to become a good True Christian(tm) woman and abandon your wanton ways.

              You do realise I don't
wear my shades all the frikking time?

And I do not hide my true self.
              That's the point.

I express myself though my hair and clothes and stuff.

You should not let the trappings of fashion dictate who you are. Sun glasses are meant to protect you from the sun. They are not to hide behind. A beautiful girl needs no such accouterments.

Fantastic. Hopefully, you are still striving for True Christianity. I'm going to talk to Rev. Jim about setting up an accelerated tithing schedule. That way we should be able to become True Christians in a more timely manner. Of course, we'll still have to get counseled by Pastor Zeke. I'll be mailing your plane ticket to North Carolina next week. My sister has already cleaned out the guest room in her house for you. My outboard motor is starting to act up again. Hopefully it'll last until you get here to work on it!

Dearest Johnny, I felt I had to share my news with you this morning.
My Aunt is a Saved Christian and has heard from my Mother how hard I am working to become a Good Christian Lady. A few years ago when I was in my teens, I went completely off the rails, and my Aunt cast me out, she wouldn't have any contact with me. She and my Uncle have 5 Sons and 3 daughters. And they are very strict with the upbringing of my cousins. I totally insulted Aunt and Our Dear Lord, hence my being shunned.
Now after being here with the wonderful Forum members and You Johnny, I at last feel at ease telling you these things.
Anyway, to cut a very long story short, my Mother has been reporting my progress and my Aunt called me last night, to congratulate me on turning to God again.
I am so happy this morning, because on Sunday I have been invited by my Aunt and Uncle to attend a Service with them at Their Baptist Church in Guildford. She says that if I carry on the in the path I'm going, I shall be cleansed in the blood of Christ, This news is so Wonderful I had to share it with you.

God Bless Johnny and thankyou for the patience you show me.

This is great news indeed. I'm happy you are getting along with your family once again. Please keep practicing your pies and biscuits and gravy.
Also, I found a nice book on outboard motor repair you can study before your trip to North Carolina.

                                God Bless,
