I am so sorry for intruding, Gentlemen, but I wanted to settle this once and for all so we can MOVE ON (and start discussing Scripture with these visitors) instead of this ENDLESS back-snd-forth.

I consulted my cookbook, and a frappé is a kind of iced drink (recipe here)

Isn't the most likely explaination that "fap" is a misspelling, or alternate spelling, of this foreign word? (If not, can we just agree it is, and stop all this filthy conjecture they're dragging in here???)

I must say while I am new to this forum there have been sentiments from both sides which have outright confused me.

While the obvious younger population have decided to spurn fun at your attempts to understand the meaning to "Fap" is it too forward thinking of me to say that due to the English language ever changing with neologisms being added every day. A lot of Slang and colloquialisms are likely to appear.

Now as some have rightly said Fap itself is not exclusively the meaning of self gratification. However in popular culture today its onomatopoeia that has deemed this term acceptable among the masses (internet message boards mostly.)

I want to try and bring an end to this argument, as to be honest most of the people on this board maybe don't realise that this has become such a popular site to visit over the past couple of days because of the quite frankly hilarious ways you are trying to get around it being about the act that you all so despise.

More over, they were discussing it in relation to Sarah Palin, because some people (Myself not included. ) Find her stunningly attractive. Thats not to say i think she is ugly, just not my type as it were.

I think what the Church members of this site need to recognise is that the world around them changes so effortlessly and with the gradual rise in sexual imagery around the media today is it not apparent that the general public go along with this? I mean they aren't sinners because they say a word. Sinners are those who do vastly immoral things such as to go against the ten commandments (Rules that basically define a humans moral code. ) Which I think is top notch.

However the problem is that alot of people take the scripture far to literally as word from god himself. It is not. It is word of man. Who as we know is corruptable. So while the bible contains alot of sentiments that can be considered morally important there are other issues which due to the modern age dont apply. It is time to update our knowledge and expand our minds to other people having differences. And that these differences dont generally mean they are sinners and that they are going to hell. If they live a good and decent life then they will enter heaven.
However if they commit an act that is deemed unlawful (Whatever is true on earth is deemed true in heave) then they recieve the punishment. and repent as the lords dictatorship requires.

Small instances like this however should not get a person labelled a sinner. I found it especially disgusting that the person who first divulged the fact about fap. He was trying to educate with the research he had found and you all cast him out as a heretic. Wheres the compassion there?

More proof of the perverted nature of the Internet nowadays. People should have realized the ill effects of allowing unsaveds, liberals and foreigners. Luckily, we still have our private corner here, where we can worship in peace, without people bothering us all the time, trying to seduce us into heinous acts of desecration of the Temple of the Holy Spirit.

The world changes, but the Bible doesn't. We choose to follow the Bible, not the World.

Additionally, the acts discussed in this thread are against Biblical Law. Read 1 Corinthians 6:15-19 again.

Who told you this insanity? The Bible is very clear about this:

2 Timothy 3:16:
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness

So while the bible contains alot of sentiments that can be considered morally important there are other issues which due to the modern age dont apply.

And how exactly would you make the difference? Wouldn't it just be your own subjective opinions which would lead you in your verdict?

The point is, if you choose only verses you agree with, you might just as well ignore the Bible in its entirety. After all, you don't learn anything new, as all things which would potentially make you change your mind about anything would be discarded without second thought, as they are considered "not applicable to the modern age."

He tried to teach our children to touch themselves on places God didn't intend them to do that when He created Man 6014 years ago. Our Godly Moderators made a wise decision in banning him. Good riddance.

Listen... These little arguments in this world won't change the Love that Our Maker has for us! Yet still it surely saddens Him, that His believers (we are His children, even if we neglect this fact) can't have the same Love for other people. Because yes - we are filled with his Love and we have to spread it among others!
