Re: Ghost Hunters: Paranormal Investigators Promote Witchcraft
I mean that you strike me as a CHINO (CHristian In Name Only) - a false Christian, as described in Matthew 7:21-23.
Matthew 7:21-23
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
If you are unable to back up your assertions with Scripture, then how are we to differentiate them from the vain opinions of a hellbound sinner convinced that his own opinions supercede the Word of God?
For example, your assertion that "nowhere in the [B]ible does it say that [H]e has chosen who goes to hell, or who sits at [H]is side." Quite the contrary, actually.
Romans 8:29-31
For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
II Thessalonians 2:11-13
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
Ephesians 1:4-5
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
John 6:64-65
But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.
And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.
John 15:16
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
Please explain why we should accept your opinion over the Word of God, as given in the King James Authorized Version (c) 1611. Also, please explain how you can be certain that your vain opinions are not something that has been whispered into your ear by demons set on dragging your soul down to hell.
I believe I have already provided you with Scripture that contradicts this notion. There is no such thing as "free will." We are exactly as God has made us. Either He has made us to join Him in Heaven for all eternity (Romans 9:11), or He has made us to endure unfathomable torments in the fiery pits of hell for all eternity (Jude 1:4).
If you are unable to back your assertions up with Scripture, I'm afraid I can simply not take anything you have to say seriously. It is quite evident that you do not have the Holy Spirit dwelling within you as It dwells within me, guiding my discernment.
I Corinthians 2:13-15
Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
II Timothy 2:15-16
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness
How do you know this? Do the voices inside your head tell you these things? Are these the same voices that tell you these other things that I have shown to directly contradict the Word of God?
It seems that the LORD has brought you here just in time. If you were to die right now, where does the Bible say you would go?

I may not be able to quote the bible, I may not have the right scripture to reference from. but I can honestly say that God loves all his children, and nowhere in the bible does it say he has chosen who goes to hell, or who sits at his side.

He has given us the choice to either accept him, or not accept him.

I know where i will spend my eternity, at the right hand of our Lord God. I also know that I don't judge other , that I leave up to God and his infinite wisedom, which no man on earth will ever come close to having, or understand.
