I got so, may i say, scared by this ''diablo'' that i had to look it and the company up.

What i found was, i would say, somewhat better then what i read here, i must say

Firstly, it seems the goal of this ''Diablo'' game is to defeat a great amounts of evil beings, presumably all in the name of the holy lord, not only was the game about vanquishing evil, but the final enemy was apparently Diablo himself, a being stated by the game, to be the devil himself, and while the game may explain it strangely, it seems to me as the goal is to save the world as gods holy champion by defeating satan himself!

Not only that but most of the facts stated in the first post are frankly false and the image shown is not from any game made by this company, (note that i still believe them to be evil, they made a game about helping vikings, called ''lost vikings'' after all) but by another company, totally unrelated to blizzard.

In short, while i do understand how some may not like this game, it does seem to be a game about defeating satan, not about helping him.

Here is where you introduce yourself. Tell us what church you go to and what your favorite Bible verse is and how you came to find Jesus.

The point of any such game is to normalise the idea of "satan" so that the actual Satan may operate more freely in the camouflage of Myth.

To the post creator, do your research next time. I'd say about 80% of the "facts" in your rant are false. I think every single one of those bullet points is false.

To the rest of you that are saying things like "They're probably Muslims" or "piffle ISLAM". You are a disgrace. Why can't people believe what they want to believe?

Did no one ever tell you not to judge a book by its cover? By saying negative things about "all" people Islam or Muslim you're judgemental and putting people into a stereotype.

Read a Stephen Hawking book, learn something that actually happened instead of banking everything in your life on a magician who "made the earth". Do you disagree with physics too? The Law of Conservation of Mass - look it up.

Open your mind to things other than strictly what you believe, this is why other countries make a joke out of the united states.

I made this account for a quick clarification from a Blizzard and Diablo Fan.

First off, the game that the OP is talking about, and the picture presented, is NOT from the Diablo franchise, however from a game called Torchlight 2.

If you are going to make an argument and attempt to ban something, (which I feel is absolutely necessary in today's world) please at least get facts straight. I have always found that the one thing religious people lacked was common sense and an education.

On a side note, reading from people on the first page who have such titles "Confirmed Enemy of God BANNED from Landover -- Aeternal Damnation Assured" and "Unsaved Trash Landover Habilitation and Therapy Unit (For those unfit to mix with the normal public)" - This is something God would not support.

After reading around on this site, I would like to point out that this is a sick minded religion, that I do not want any part of. If anyone is going to hell, it's the "True Christians™" on this terrible site...

Why are certain people called "True Christians" and others "Unsaved trash". Does agreeing with the OP make me a true Christian? Or will correcting some of the ludicrous "facts" make me unsaved trash & banned from this forum?

You may not call me a "true Christian" and I almost certainly will not receive a tag labeling me as such, but I believe that I am a believer and follower of Jesus.

Having said that, I should clear up some misconceptions the members of this forum seem to have about not only Blizzard games, but games in general ;

Diablo 2 (which I have played extensively) contains absolutely zero prostitution or bestiality or whatever else you've outlined. The overarching story of the game is to begin as a weakling human and progress through the world to defeat the great evil threatening the world. The story is pure fantasy. Humans have an affinity, if not a thirst, for stories of good vs evil, and we almost always desire to have good win. Are these stories evil? Perhaps they are a distraction from the real world, but isn't it up to the individual to discover right and wrong through the wisdom granted through the Holy Spirit?

Will I play Diablo 3? Probably. Sometimes I just want to play a game with my friends, because it is fun. Perhaps you should all do more research and find the truth behind the games first and THEN make a judgement on the morality of said game, not the other way around.

I guess this is where I put the necessary "inb4 ban & inb4 unsaved trash"
