Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. The swatstika used to be a religious symbol, you know. Then look what happened to it. You see what you want to see.
But yeah, rainbows? Rainbows are innocent. They're an array of colors you get when you defract light. That's why you see them after it rains, because the water droplets in the air defract sunlight through them. It's actually very fascinating, and quite beautiful to look at.
Or you can believe that they are put in the sky by God, like the Bible says.
Either way, in their natural state, there's nothing wrong with rainbows.

In Germany, all images of swastikas are forbidden. Even if you don't want to sympathize with the Nazis but with that Buddhist cult, you're not allowed to put up pictures with this symbol. So, there is a precedent we can use to ban all images depicting rainbows.
Did you know gays have a much lower life expectancy due to suicide, harassment, the AIDS and being gay? Don't you agree that if you ban cigarettes from public since they allegedly make you sick, gay propaganda should be banned too?

And in response on your so-called argument that rainbows doesn't make one gay, I conducted a quick research by searching for "sexuality rainbow dash", got a whole lot of porn which I had to read for the greater good (I'm still shaking from this ordeal) and presented my findings in the following graph:
