The reason, why that Pastor thinks, that homosexuality is a choice is, because gays/lesbians do not know what they are from their birth on. They just find that out later, when becoming adults. If, as you suggest, being homosexual is somehow genetic, then we should take it one step further and sterilize the parents and siblings (and nieces and nephews) of every homosexual.

But with that, you pretend that being homosexual is bad and that you have to get rid of it. Why? What reason does your Bible give? No reason at all!

Gays/lesbians just are what they are. They mutually agree with their relationships. And it's as much wrong as among straight, if someone is forced into such a relationship. So, gays and straight are not that much different in that kind of respect. And there is no such as a 'gay lifestyle'. That was an invention of the industry and not one of the gays. You should be more angry about some companies and consultants, who just used their vision of gays/lesbians for their commecials.
There is no gay/lesbian behavior existing. Again a proof, that it's not a choice and not 'tought'. The reason, why people think a gay behavior to exists is, because gays were persecuted for a long time and I think they tried to adapt to the 'man/woman'-style from society by accepting a 'top' and 'bottom' role, which is an imitation of the roles of a (predominantly) straight society. But gays/lesbians are not top or bottom. They don't have roles. They change very quickly from top into bottom and vice versa within their partnerships. So, there is no 'top' imposing his lifestyle onto a 'bottom'.
And I'm glad, that Western societies accept gays/lesbians. They are an enrichment of society. Societies, which persecute them are mostly ill, unhappy, badly kept and many young people (straights) are yearning to leave these societies/countries and seek a future in the West.

It does not say: "Gays should not be gay".

It does say: they should be killed. What part of that do you not understand?

And in case you were thinking that, whereas the "natural use of the woman" clearly identifies what perversions the men were choosing no equivalent homoerotic orientation is implied for women (and I don't ever regard Biblical values as implied, by the way) SORRY God has specified the perversions associated with both sexes in a number of places in His Just Law [Exodus, Leviticus, Deuteronomy together with numerous other references in The Bible (as posted throughout the forum)] so why don't you read them?

If you don't agree with The Bible you can always become a Zoroastrian or something (God is clear that you will then go to hell) but at the end of the day it's up to you, isn't it.
