Greetings from China

Hi guys.
I'm Alex, a high school student from China, English is not my first language so please forgive me if I make any grammar mistakes.

I have a atheistic upbringing, in school they teach us theres no gods and the world functions following a set of physics and social laws. Well, the theories are pretty persuasive, but I would like to hear both sides of the story, theres some questions that stuck in my head I hope you guys can help me? Sorry if you find the questions to be blasphemous I don't have much knowledge in Christianity but I'm willing to learn.

1. Do you believe in God out of Faith or out of ration, is it possible to deduce the existence of the God from some simple fact( not scripture) ?

2. Whats more important to us human beings, the truthness of the holy scriptures or the fact that God's words help spread love and make the world a better place? In the atheist state of China lots of people have been money-driven causing a lot of moral or safety scandals and other social issues. Christianity maybe a solution but is it necessary to follow the Bible word by word, not just the part that fits into the contempory society?

Why do you exclude scripture here? Proof God exists is in scripture. It is as if I chop of your arms, legs and head and then start complaining you stopped calling.

Dear Woo Fat, you can not seperate the Word of God from the results, a better world.

Should you follow the Bible word for word? Good question, YES, if not how can you be a Christian?

To do otherwise would be in direct conflict with what is stated by God.

Matthew 4:4 Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Romans 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

Revelation 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
Revelation 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

I exclude the scripture because its mostly about unrepeatable experiences from other ppl, like, Jesus fed 5k ppl with his flesh and blood , but I'm not one of the 5000( well I wasn't born yet) , I just want more solid proof to convince myself

Have you any idea what the word " faith" means? Son all the proof you need is all around you. Praise Jesus, He preforms true miracles each and every day, look in the mirror what do you see, that's right the work of God.

I am sorry to hear you have to live in the land of slants and gooks. You sound like a good fellow and I'll give you the benefit of the doubt as I am a loving and trusting man.
Why do you hate Jesus? Is not the fact that He died for your sins a pretty significant thing to do? In your hell hole, you pinscrutable people are supposed to have honor and honoring your father (who just so happens to be God) is the most important thing of all.

Uhh....... not quite sure who told you that. Perhaps you should actually read the Bible to find out what it really says rather than some mistranslation of a mistranslation.

Matthew 14

The stuff about eating his flesh and blood is a Catholic thing. They take the following passage a little too literally

Luke 22:19-20 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
