    hello!

    my name is Georgia Washington, I was born into a Baptist family and intend on dying in one. I am 21 years old and have been married for 10 years. I have 5 children, which is not to good for someone married 10 years but the good Lord Jesus wouldnt let me mother children until our 5th anniversary (16) I live in rural texas and because the only church in my town in catholic I listen to the baptist radio church.
    I take the Bible seriously and am constantly amazed at how many 'christians' choose which parts of the Bible to follow. Its Gods book, and if he tells you to stone your child for swearing, then who are you to question the good book? "Then all the men of his town shall stone him to death. You must purge the evil from among you. All Israel will hear of it and be afraid." Deuteronomy 21:21 <---- my favourite verse
    determined to become a good Christian housewife!

    What sort of monster would join a Christian message board just to post an exaggerated mockery of how they think a True Christian ought to behave so they can mock God?

      Not that there's anything wrong with killing a persistently rebellious child.

      Deuteronomy 21:18-20

      It's important to understand that God wants us to try our hardest to beat our children into submission first before stoning them. He is a just and fair God and gives a child every chance to do the right thing. You sounded flippant.

            Since when is 'Greenwich, AU' part of Texas. I mean, Texas is mighty big but I do not think the Pacific ocean is considered a lake in Texas.

                        very wise words, I was not trying to mock god (I would never ), I just take the Bible quite seriously. yes I do beat my children regularly so I can avoid the ultimate punishment but my children are not rebelious, more the quiet and jumpy sort.

                          Alas I was for a breif period of my life, but my husband saw the evil in my ways and converted me from that ridiculous cult to the true small wing of the Baptist church which had graced me with existance.
