Re: Only Sluts Get Raped! (1st Timothy 2:9)
Then WHY write "Thou shalt not kill." That's all he write. It's ultimate. All it says is "You shall not kill." But now you try to justify killing because apparently he also told you to. So he said "You shall not kill" (which ultimately means never, it is never specified that there are exceptions) and then said "You shall kill these people." You can't have either one. Just admit, the Bible is more full of loopholes than a time travel movie.

You are actually saying that He should play by YOUR rules?! You are suggesting that He would have the duty to follow YOUR logic? Why would he do that? An all-powerful being tells you what to do in a Book that is available in plain American and you question Him? If He is capricious or willing to provide loopholes, who are we to question or patronize Him!? Here at LBC we are HONEST. We admit that God can be illogical, wanton or violent from the human viewpoint AND that gives us even more reasons to revere and FEAR Him. Through fear emerges love and the potential to feel the conditional LOVE OF God.

to forgive you?
