The bible is inaccurate and has changed with human history, inspired by need of governments to control masses of population. I do not believe that god has spoken to anyone on this planet, he only warms us with his presence.

God is all about love, peace, personal growth and good times together without fighting. And to proclaim that you are proud to be a part of the most corrupted and murderous nation on this planet is a good demonstration of how brainwashed you really are.

I am new to this forum but it seems to me that there is a lot of unnecessary anger and hostility here and it makes me quite sad actually. Doesn't our lord Jesus talk about forgiveness and not to judge? Does he not talk about loving ones enemies? Where is this love here??

I am Icelandic and I try to be a good christian, I try to follow the word of our lord. I am not without sin and anyone here who says they are.. Well I guess they have bigger man than me to answer to. But i would never go around saying that god hates USA or any other nation for that matter.
I think it is really arrogant to presume that you know the mind of god. Who are you to say that god hates Iceland. Icelandis a peace loving nation who, as mentioned before, does not even have an army. We do not have an army because we believe in solving our differences in a peaceful manner. I wonder if building big silos filled with atomic weapons would make Jesus happy. Was that part of his teachings? Believe in god or you will be nuked?? I don't think that the quantity of gods love for a nation can be measured in its nuclear capability or how many war it has won.

We have had the misfortune to have some misguided bankers that weakened our economy to the brink of bankruptcy. Looking at your country is doesn't seem that you have been blessed with better bankers. I do not see the relevance in banking and god hating Iceland.

Where did you get that silly idea? From the Holy Bible, we can learn how God thinks about certain things, and if we then want to judge other people or countries, it is just a simple matter of weighing a country's evils against its positive sides.
Additionally, we are filled with the Holy Spirit, who guides our judgment, so we can't possibly be wrong. If you say we are, you are blaspheming the Holy Spirit, which is the only unforgivable sin. Then you certainly will be suffering horrific torture for the rest of all eternity.
