Apparently, 100 years ago Turks killed 1,000,000 Armenians. So what?

The bishop of Rome (so-called "pope") is making waves again. This time he has managed to anger the peaceful nation of Turkey, claiming that some unfortunate events which took place in 1915 should be called a "genocide."

Should we care?

No.

Here is why:

1) People die all the time. It's no big deal. God killed millions of men, women, and children in the Flood, and we still worship Him.

2) Armenians are heathens. They belong to some obscure church (established in 4th century AD), of the orthodox variety of false Christianity. There is no reason why we should care about some dead heathens.

3) Genocides happen all the time, and our Great Nation usually doesn't care, especially if they happen in places with no oil. (Several places in Africa come to mind). Some people would call what's happening in Gaza a genocide of the Palestines, but we don't care about some dirty Arabs either.

4) In fact, we are proud of our own genocides. We're so proud that we put on the $20 bill the face of a guy who was substantial in the genocide of Indians in America.

Hence, there is no reason why we should care about 1,000,000 dead Armenians. They were destined to anyway!

I couldn't agree more. Mao killed 60.000.000 filthy chinks, Stalin killed 40.000.000 filthy commies, Hitler killed 30.000.000 filthy gays and jews. All part of God's plan to rid the earth of unbelievers. Pope Francis (which isn't even his real name) shouldn't whine about Ismail Enver Pasha killing all those Armenians with his bare hands, he should thank him in prayer for doing God's work!

Genocide is one of those words liberals use to confuse honest Americans. Like vegan, feminist or lesbian. It's no coincidence Hillary Clinton is all those things but that is a different subject. No doubt all this genocide whining is yet another plot by Obama to take away our guns.

Count me among the confused and apathetic. They would have all been dead by now anyway, so what's the big deal? God had destined them for eternal torment. And besides, if they really thought another 10 or 20 years of living on earth postponing the inevitable would have made their torture seem more bearable, they would have realized their mistake the moment they woke up in Hell.

No, it was all a long time ago, wasn't it? And we have the benefit of seeing the whole episode from a distance that lends us a perspective. I think it is a little stupid to go on and on just because someone died years ago.

Do the Moabite, Amalkelites and the Jesubites still go on and on about the Army of the Almighty wiping them out? No.

The very fact that there is an Armenian means that there was no genocide - just a little unpleasantness between squabbling brothers. (I don't know about you, but I don't think I could tell an Armenian from a Turk! )

Do I hate God for killing so many people over the years? No, of course not! Why the great flood was a terrific cleansing of the land, a point in time when humanity learned a valuable lesson about the use of free will and how to best make the correct choice to not have to go to Hell.

If all these so called 'genocides' were really such a bad thing, does anyone honestly think for one second God would allow it? IMHO, the 1940's (let alone over 100 years ago!!!) was a great time for Jesus to get a little payback from those murderous joos. Does anyone now, miss any of the dead? If the attention of the public was not thus diverted, I imagine the South would secede again out of sheer anger and frustration at the devilish Yankees in God forsaken Washington, D.C.

If it hadn't been for the genocide of the Armenians, think of how overrun our once great nation would be with the filthy beggars. About half our tax money probably goes to putting Armenians on welfare and teaching them English so they can dirty up our neighborhoods with more liquor stores.
