England Persecutes Christians (Again)

Oh friends, I'm choking back tears. I'm just a woman and so of course I don't keep up with current events or political things (after all, what good does that do for preparing supper and keeping laundry?), but a lady friend of mine from Godless England brought to my attention some news from her church that grieves my spirit.

Bath Christian group's 'God can heal' adverts banned

True Christians™ from every culture and walk of life throughout the world know the Holy Bible is the Living Word of God, infallible and inerrant in every way. We know that when God says He can heal illnesses and maladies, HE CAN!

But my lady friend told me recently the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), a representative of the government, said it had concluded that the adverts by Healing on the Streets (HOTS) in the town called Bath, were misleading. "Misleading" by speaking the Word of God to the faithful: "Need Healing? God can heal today!"

Of course we True Christians™ recognize this as God's Honest Truth. We know we can trust the Holy Bible when it tells us that True Christians™ are blessed by God:

And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and theirs offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the LORD hath blessed.
Isaiah 61:9

Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
John 15:8

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19

So what is a Christian to do when he finds himself not well? Why, look to God for correction:

Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O LORD, and teachest him out of thy law
Psalm 94:12-13

My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD, nor detest His correction;
For whom the LORD loves He corrects, just as a father the son in whom he delights.
Proverbs 3:11-12

Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
Romans 11:22

Confessing these sins will restore the blessings of God:

Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Isaiah 40:28-31

Knowing this and more importantly, believing it, HOTS Bath followed the very Word of God and offered healing to the good people of Bath, England.

Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
James 5:14-16

My lady friend shared with me what the leaflet read:

Need Healing? God can heal today! Do you suffer from Back Pain, Arthritis, MS, Addiction ... Ulcers, Depression, Allergies, Fibromyalgia, Asthma, Paralysis, Crippling Disease, Phobias, Sleeping disorders or any other sickness?

We'd love to pray for your healing right now!

We're Christian from churches in Bath and we pray in the name of Jesus. We believe that God loves you and can heal you from any sickness.

This isn't the first time the ASA has persecuted Christians in Godless England. It just brings me to my knees to see the Father of Lies take such hold in England.

I can't believe that the same country that allows worthless, disproven homeopathetic remedies to be sold -- basically, sugar tablets -- and even covers them under taxpayer-funded health care dares to attack Christian healing which works, and is offered for free!

It's all too real, Rev. We are under siege here in England. Sunday is no longer special and there's a generation of children growing up who have never even set foot inside a church or felt Jesus entering them. It's like they are being brainwashed in the idea that only medicine made by science with all its ridiculous trials and tests and changing its mind all the time works.

Meanwhile here we are with healing endorsed by God Himself.

As for the homoeopathic fools! They are all that is bad about superstitious undercover wicca superstition. they have come up with a way to make their incantations sound scientific so that gullible fools swallow it up and try some sort of mumbo jumbo cure that's never going to work. It's like they kid themselves on that it makes them feel better when nothing of any substance has happened.

Prayer works and has been proved to work over and over again. Millions of devout healed believers can't be wrong!

If they want someone to be a witness to the Miraculous Healing Power of The Lord, I can do that.

Once a year, probably through a small lapse in Faith, I am beset by the demons of The Cold. I pray hard and, when, after about 3 or 4 days, I have regained my level of Spirituality, the cold is miraculously cured.

I suggest anyone who doubts try this for themselves.

How anyone can deny the power of prayer is beyond me.

My word! When are those atheists going to learn?

Secular medical treatment cost me my leg, and I'm sure that if my mother hadn't brought me to the hospital, but had just relied on Jesus, I would still have two legs today!

I mean, atheist doctors also say they can't cure AIDS, only lessen the symptoms, while Christian faith healers promise you'll be AIDS-free if only you repent and stop being gay!

If I was gay, I would make the obvious choice and go to the man that can actually cure me. No wonder they persecute us. They're afraid they'll be put out of business.
