I think you are confusing scientific theories with scientific facts.

An example of a scientific theory would be evolution, which hasn't been proven - hence it's called the ''theory of...''

Just to set the record straight: The reason we can see stars from millions of light years away, is because the stars are millions of years old. The light we see from the stars tonight is actually light emitted millions of years ago, since light sources of their brightness emit light powerful enough to travel that immense distance.

Try reading the whole thread before attempting to straighten any records. We've proven that light does not have a speed. We know, for a fact, that light is an instantaneous phenomenon. I don't know why so many of you befuddled atheists continue to get so worked up over this.

The light we see from the stars tonight is actually light emitted millions of years ago, since light sources of their brightness emit light powerful enough to travel that immense distance.

You know absolutely nothing about a field of science (as you have admitted) but believe the evidence is against creation. I don't think you are in any position to make such statements.

Oh, and these "scientists" have got out a tape measure to measure the distance to these stars?

How else could they say they are millions and billions of light years away?

Especially since they claim you cannot travel faster than the "speed of light"?

So when was the first rocket sent into space again? By your claim, it would have to been trillions of years ago, even before man supposedly evolved! Even before the universe was "created" in the "big bang"!
