Indeed not, and that birth itself was not a common one.

Given that they had sinfully denied the veracity of the Holy Word, I took the scientists words as a sure sign of their backtracking.

Scientists do that all the time. They can't stand to see their belief system challenged, and so they constantly change the rules of the game in order to maintain their beliefs. In the homeschool world we call it "moving the goal posts," and my children know that so long as they follow the Word of the LORD, they will never have to retract anything or make excuses when they hear something new (Hebrews 13:8). The information is either right or wrong, depending on whether or not it conforms to the Holy Bible. God can't be wrong, it's not in His nature, but man is. I'm grateful that more and more people are learning to trust the Word of God than ever before, and that scientists are coming out of the closet to proclaim the Truth!

Wait a minute! Are we supposedly a type of fish? These scientists are always saying we are part fish or monkeys or pond slime or something. Are they now trying to tell us that Mary was more like a fish than the average woman?

Not sure how this confirms a virgin birth in humans. Asexual reproduction has been seen in many types of fish. Asexual reproduction is common in nature and can be observed in fungus, bacteria, and many types of organisms. It is not uncommon or some modern miracle. However with that being said it has not ever been witnessed or even deemed possible with humans as our reproductive organs are completely different.

As you must have noticed in the opening post, the miracle is not the fact that some simple Created Kinds have asexual reproduction. The miracle is that a Created Kind that usually reproduces in the natural way of two-gender sex suddenly AND miraculously becomes capable of virgin birth. In fact, you have said as much your self: "...it has not ever been witnessed or even deemed possible with humans as our reproductive organs are completely different..." Exacly! When this takes place in humans it must be due to Divine Intervention.
