Call me what you want, i dont go around telling people im 40 i just put it because of web site content, illiterate, im typing on a small key board, i make typos, sue me. (Congrats on useing spellcheck, i dont download potentially dangerous material on my computer.)

Heres my view on christianity or all religon itself.

People fear what is unknown, and they fear death. This is natural, the end of all conscienceness and life is a scary thought. But instead of accepting it, humanity made gods.

Before christianity they used gods to explain things, rain, the sun, wind, everything they didnt understand.
But with time humanity improved and discover more things got smarter.
So they didnt need gods to explain for the things they didnt understand.

Christianity, played into this many years ago when we were able to understand many more modern things yet not all so they used "heaven" as a escape-goat for death.
They wrote down the modern belifes back then and they though god was the cause for everything they dont understand.
With time though, we slowly did come to understand these things, yet since it was in the "bible", it was thought unchallengeable, everything in there was 100% right. This is why Christians have to fight every modern breakthorugh in science, ie. evolution Vs. Creation.
This goes with Society belifes too, ie. homosexuality.
Everything that opposes you, destroy, least we not forget the thosands of priceless books that where burned because they had "heratic belifes"
If you as a modern human read many of these you would find that alot of the ideas expressed in this book were true, but the christians at the time believed it was rubbish.

Example, we can all say the earth is round right?
This is common knowlage and anyone who dosnt believe it should go back to elementary school.
When Christianity was formed the common knowlage was the earth was flat therefor when people started saying the earth was round im sure the christians back then faught it to. Because it was in the bible.
But now we know that its true.
This is just an example of how religon breeds ignorence and slows the progress of humanity.

Genesis has more inconsistencies than almost any other book in the bible, ive used this before.
GE 1:3-5 On the first day, God created light, then separated light and darkness.
GE 1:14-19 The sun (which separates night and day) wasn't created until the fourth day.
GE 1:11-12, 26-27 Trees were created before man was created.
GE 2:4-9 Man was created before trees were created.
GE 1:20-21, 26-27 Birds were created before man was created.
GE 2:7, 19 Man was created before birds were created.
GE 1:24-27 Animals were created before man was created.
GE 2:7, 19 Man was created before animals were created.
GE 1:26-27 Man and woman were created at the same time.
GE 2:7, 21-22 Man was created first, woman sometime later.
GE 1:28 God encourages reproduction.
LE 12:1-8 God requires purification rites following childbirth which, in effect, makes childbirth a sin. (Note: The period for purification following the birth of a daughter is twice that for a son.)
