How can you proclaim what would and wouldnt be used against you on "judgement day"?

Amen! It ain't murder if God orders it. I love to point to the Biblical story of the Midianites to illustrate this point.

Under God's direction, Moses' army defeats the Midianites. They kill all the adult males, but take the women and children captive. When Moses learns that they left some live, he angrily says: "Have you saved all the women alive? Kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves." So they went back and did as Moses (and presumably God) instructed, killing everyone except for the virgins. In this way they got 32,000 virgins --captive girl children virgins! ---- Numbers 31:1-54

Im here for the first time and i stumbled this site just today only for the fact that some other people have seen some disturbing and quite weird(rather unlogical) things said here...

I have been interested in these theistic theories and ideologies (especially christian) and i never really have gone into depth in these things since i never have believed something like "god" in general

At some point i see that people here are as much hypocritical or as amoral like other people only trying to make self efficient fundamental concept which pretty much creates a cause for the existence of themselves but thats actually rather rational since its almost biologically encoded since we have a hierarchical nature

But in general i dont want to judge any of you and im here only for the interest
Just because i lay my opinion thats not analogical to yours doesnt mean im trying to contract it

I think you are getting lost in the details. The possibly questionable actions of a few handful of Christians in the greater body of the Church should not distract from the big question here "If God exists, why do atheists hate Him?"

I am curious to hear you answer on this friend.

Well the thing i was also wondering is that why did the question involve hating something if i dont really believe in that
I think what you mean here that they dont really hate god if he exists but the very fact that they really cant accept the very idea of that cause mostly people want to think that theyre leading theyre own lifes

Dont get me wrong, i have thought about this alot but as more i go through these chunks of information the more critical i look to this speculation to which we call god...

How can you change my mind, I have plenty of evidence right there in The Bible.

But do see what is there is speculate about; the universe clearly needs a creator, the Bible is says it is God so it seems pretty clear after that. It is not like we are asking you to accept pink unicorns or magical plates of spaghetti.

Do they have KJV bibles in Russia? if so, look up Matthew:13:19: When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.

If you don't, this might help (Only the Lord Himself knows if it is accurate though.)

....just because some book that has been rewrite for centuries and adapted the needed time says so, i have to believe it ?

anyways....im not hatefull...just with my own opinion and trying to be separated from psychological influence since i have seen how christianity works at large range of emotions which practically make human organism and brain to get used to it....

Well i just wanted to see the general view of this place and i got to tell you that many things here are gone wrong whether you think so or not

i doubt that you will comprehend what i am talking about since im not good at english terminology either(between im not russian, i barely speak in in it, in general Latvians come from Baltic tribes whom are not slaw ethnicity)

Also the thing that you lay youre opinion without any doubt whatsoever shows that you really have stooped to evolve in this matter since you dont really think about it, just like other masses of people who dont even realise the very basic concept of christian god

I have came also to conclusion that the fact that you are believing in this ideology which is more independent from daily things, makes you feel better than others and i find this kind of ego-centrism bit.... nevermind
