I'm you see the Christian Aspect of this idea, friend. Indeed, the Bible teaches that castrating yourself to abstain from sex is advisable:

Isaiah 56:3-5:

Why do you try to insult me? Do you think it is the right thing to do? You must realize it is wrong, yet you still do it. Do you not hear what I am saying? I was sent here by God to make you realize the truth. God has a plan for all of us and my coming here was no chance. I came here to tell you that what you are doing is wrong. I am not talking about following the Bible. That is not something you are doing. What you're doing is something mean, even though you may try to do it to reach a good goal. Wow, there sure are a lot of references to "I" and "me" and zero reference to scripture--which is how God instructs us to know Him.
