Well DUH! That's why I made this thread! Sheesh. If it saves only ONE down syndrome freak from eternal damnation, suffering through the endless stream of idiots visiting this thread will all have been worth it.

Have you ever considered asking them?

But how? Do you think that maybe making a thread on a webforum addressing that topic might be a good idea?

Still, assuming that they choose to live like this (which they don't), should one at least try and show them the error of their ways?

Yes (in a strictly Biblical sense). More info here: Bible Answers: Who are our neighbors? Who are our brothers and sisters? Who are we to love?

You're confused. God is good (Psalm 100:5).

    God created evil (Isaiah 45:7).

Therefore, there's a reason for evil, even if we don't understand it (Isaiah 55:8).

    To glorify God (Isaiah 48:9-11)!

Not at all, dear. If you were to read your family Bible, you'd read that the LORD has provided evidence for His existence all over creation. It's a matter of fact that people who reject God and His Will have been brainwashed by other religious proponents, including atheists.

if they were born into a Christian family, they would hear it from their family...
I agree, you cannot be born and magically be a Christian; I already quoted scripture showing that babies are born into sin, they need to learn to become Christian when they grow up. I don't really understand your last question though...

    No it isn't.
