So today after prayer I was thinking about the future and robotics. Apparently in Australia there are already self driving trucks. But what do we really do once robots want to enter our churches. And it immediatly came to my mind that the Mary worshipping Pope will be the first to invite them to Church for a small fee. Small robo children are also "invited" for private sittings.

Eventually the Romans will realize that their priests can be replaced with robots. That would end their problems with a shortage of priests and cut down tremendously on the pay outs to the victims of priestly behaviors. A robot can make crosses in the air and nod at confessing sinners just as well as a priest and they both hold the same rank in God's eyes. Once they find out they can replace the priests, it's only a matter of time before they can field a robot pope. I think that the Pope has an email address. I've often thought people could just email their list of sins and he could email their "absolution".
A mass email to everyone who listed, "lying" could be sent to several million people at once. What a time saver!His left hand should be under my head, and his right hand should embrace me.

As a former papist, I can assure you there is no intention of robots taking over the apostolic succession of the pope and the authoritative ordination of priests, who are priests for life.
When Jesus said, "Thou art Peter, and on this rock will I build my church," He gave apostolic authority to Peter to form the church and to pass down its traditions forever. The sacrament of restitution and penance can only be administered by someone who has been granted authority from the Bishop to do so (a priest). As Christ's representatives on earth, they have the authority to forgive or retain sins (John 20:23).

They've recently commissioned the Germans to create a robot priest. As absurd as this is, maybe, just maybe, it will keep the little boys safe.
