It just goes to show how innocent and persecuted Trump is. If the statement were true and the FBI had been listening in on Trump's dealings, they certainly would have stepped forward to stop him if he was doing something wrong. Right?
And if Trump were up to something nefarious and they didn't make an effort to investigate, then the FBI would be incompetent and slacking in its duty to America.
Either way, the FBI-- while under Obama's authority-- was in the wrong and Trump was in the right. Right?

A kind of childishness that doesn't have the virtues of childhood.
