A [racist slur], a horse, an alien in the same room?

I think I gone on drugs! But yes I saw it on TV. Ok, you are all Baptists. To me, this is crazy! I I know good loyal Frenchman are on tv, at least Italians! Who could resist Al Pacino or....Brenda Veccaro. 🥱🤤

But Baptists, we CAN relate on this?????

Actually, I really want to apologize on this. I know most of you are Americans and this is a sensitive subject. You see, in my culture (French Canadian) the n-word, doesn't carry the same weight connotation, as it does, and I took it far too lightly. I don't know how to make right in this. When I walk out of my house, down the cobblestone streets, I pass by a store front selling CBD goods and golliewogs! I'm sorry! I came here out of curiousity, some may say nosiness out of my son's inclinations, I'm merely upholding my culture!

I don't rightly know what you're talking about, but you seem to be one of the reasons why Canada should be the 51st state... It's for your own good.

Your wisdom is always appreciated, Pastor Bathfire. If we took over that forsaken country we would get rid of that off color language and prejudice we are seeing. Under the supervision of the U.S.A. we would have the Bible return as the guiding source instead of the wine-soaked French.

I wouldn't know, I don't do CBD or any drug for that matter. I worst I've done is mixed my Xanax with Zinfandel. :/

I don't know what Xanax is (sounds like a made-up word) but have heard of Zinfandel.

In the attached promotional pamphlet it seems to be promoted as a "red" wine, although never having served it I can't say for sure. If it were green or blue or something, it would not be depicted as red. Christians would never consume such a beverage.

Let's say Xanax is a "medicine" of some description. Christians do not need medicine as pointed out here:

              KING AHAZ

II Chronicles 16:12 And Asa in the thirty and ninth year of his reign was diseased in his feet, until his disease was exceeding great: yet in his disease he sought not to the LORD, but to the physicians.

Things did not go well for Ahaz when he relied on alternatives (as he thought) to God. Foreign armies supported him to no avail. Prophecies he didn't like from God (he probably thought the seer was making it up) angered him and he dished out punishment.

II Chronicles 16:9 For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.

God shows His strength, in matters of health, to those whose hearts are perfect. Zinfandel drinkers, insofar as it is red, have impure hearts. I checked it out some more and there is a "white" zinfandel (brand name redacted) (attached) but it looks pretty red to me.

              CHRISTIANS

Luke 9:1-2 Then [Jesus] called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.

For any Christian to require medicine, first they need to disbelieve Jesus and second, to ignore His commandment – in this case to claim authority over devils, to cure diseases and to heal the sick. There are always people who don't believe The Bible, our only record of Jesus existing at all, or who do believe what it documents but who hold that Jesus didn't know what He was talking about. In between resurrecting and ascending into Heaven, demonstrating the veracity of the claims, He was more emphatic. Perhaps you could find that reference in your reply?

But even if Xanax were 2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzyl-para-dioxane, even if either were prescribed, they are not products endorsed for Christians whose list of approved medications is 0.

Well then maybe we can agree white Zinfandel is the mulatto of white wines.

As for Xanox, oh well, let's just say you needn't concern about going to Heaven, you'd be Heaven on Earth already!

The passage you're looking for is appended here:

                          King James VersionÂą

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
                          .
Who said what unto whom? "He" is Jesus; "them" is The Eleven v. 14 but does this mean only eleven persons had such capabilities? No. It does not.

                          He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe;
                          .
The signs Jesus elucidates are capabilities afforded to all the believers, that is anyone who believes what was preached by The Eleven disciples, one especially vile specimen (the 12th) having eviscerated himself for identifying the conspicuous preacher discombobulating [1] The Romans [2] The Pharisees [3] The Scribes [4] The Sadducees [5] assorted witches, sorcerers, diviners of wicked spirits and [6] The Jews more generally. They really needed to identify Jesus so they could do Him in and the wretch who pointed Him out was smitten by his own hand. And sword. And neck.

In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Romists prefer different translations but I won't bother with the heretical Douay-Rheims version because Mrs Frottage is a Francophone and presents as up-to-date, in the flapper girl sense [RIGHT] despite certain emphases on topics never discussed by the flappers, certainly not in public. They were too decorous for that.

                          Jerusalem Bible ©1966²

And he said to them, 'Go out to the whole world; proclaim the Good News to all creation. He who believes and is baptised will be saved; he who does not believe will be condemned. These are the signs that will be associated with believers: in my name they will cast out devils; they will have the gift of tongues; they will pick up snakes in their hands, and be unharmed should they drink deadly poison; they will lay their hands on the sick, who will recover.'

As you can see, they all have the same thing here: there is never a need for Christians to require medicine. Additionally it seems that anyone knowing a Christian, or even meeting one while sick or infirm, would not need medicine either. But if they took some Xanax, it would not count as denying Christ any more than they did already.
