Brother Washed, I must say that you are probably wrong on the blanket statement that it's never too late. However, I understand the sentiment. There really is nothing that you can't be forgiven for. If you have truly committed the "unpardonable sin" you would never seek forgiveness. The fact that you are so far gone that you won't seek forgiveness is what makes that sin unpardonable. I do think that there comes a point when it may be too late to be saved or at least highly unlikely. If you have died in your sins--you're likely done, and if you have let your heart be hardened as I mentioned above and here Romans 1:28 then it may well be too late for you to be saved.

Kaitlyn hasn't hurt anyone, something that doesn't hurt anyone shouldn't be a crime. Age of consent laws are arbitrary, that's why they're different in each state. There is no evidence that consensual sex before a certain age is harmful.

The age of consent is 14 in Austria, Germany, Italy and Portugal. It's 13 in Spain: these countries don't have more traumatized teens than any other country. If anything a lower age of consent allows teens to practice safe sex and have better education.

If age differences are harmful why is it legal for a 40 year old to have sex with an 18 year old? Why is it legal for an 18 year old to be exploited in pornography? Is an 18 year old magically immune from exploitation and harm?

There shouldn't be an age of consent. Sex should only be illegal if it's rape or if there is evidence that it harms someone.

I just find it so unbelievable that people can be so intolerant towards the personal lifestyle of others. I'm living in the Netherlands but if I would be living near the living place of the parents of that other girl, the girlfriend of Kaitlyn Hunt, I would already have organised a big demonstration against the action of those two parents, it front of their own front door!

You also have to feel sorry for the other girl too. Those parents might think they just did something against their daughters girlfriend, but in fact they of course also have hurt their own daughters feelings. As a child, you want the love and respect of your parents. But in this case, they also have rejected the sexual preference of their own daughter. That must have hurted their own daughter too and probably has damaged her relationship with her parents a lot, if not permanently.

As a Dutchman, I also don't understand how this can happen in a modern democratic, western country like the US. Your'e national anthem has the lines: Land of the free and home of the brave. Well so far for land of the free. Because it seems it is only the land of the free if you live by the rules of the conservative and intolerant people in the US (or so you want The Bible). They should change those words in land of the unfree, home of the cowards. Ofcourse, their not all cowards in the US. Their also living good people in the US like Kaitlyn Hunt and her tolerant parents and ofcourse everyone who supports Kaitlyn.
