Re: Pray For Florida Assistant State Attorney To Successfully Prosecute Lesbian School Girl
Let me try...Brother Eustace may be responding with what feels right in his heart. Although separating ourselves from her is Biblically sound Hebrews 7:26, the fact is that being a lesbian is not the unpardonable sin. Mark 3:28-29 However, it could be that at the end of the day Brother Eustace is correct after all, because after a certain time God may cut a person loose. Romans 1:24...and when that happens a sinner is in tremendously bad shape. We can agree about this also, since she tricked a young girl into her horrid ways, there is a big time Hell to pay Luke 17:2.
Brother Washed, I must say that you are probably wrong on the blanket statement that it's never too late. However, I understand the sentiment. There really is nothing that you can't be forgiven for. If you have truly committed the "unpardonable sin" you would never seek forgiveness. The fact that you are so far gone that you won't seek forgiveness is what makes that sin unpardonable. I do think that there comes a point when it may be too late to be saved or at least highly unlikely. If you have died in your sins--you're likely done, and if you have let your heart be hardened as I mentioned above and here Romans 1:28 then it may well be too late for you to be saved.
