Folks, my heart really goes out to pro golfer John Daly. His spoiled wife attacked him with a knife right before a golf tournament. Imagine the shame of showing up at the green with red marks on your face.

No doubt, Daly's wife is to blame for his poor performance (on and off the green). But Daly is to blame for not disciplining his wife according to Biblical standards.

Daly's autobiography, "My Life In & Out of the Rough" details his lack of discipline in a chapter devoted to his three former wives that was titled, "All My Exes Wear Rolexes."

Let this tragedy remind all that our Lord Jesus Christ weeps when we don't properly discipline our wives. Next time you're over par at the course, try giving HER a few swats . . . it'll improve your swing.

I said "darling, let me show you how to do it right", but she just replied, "I don't need your damn help!!"So I snatched the baseball bat off of her and hit her 5 times until she was on the floor. I think spanking your wife is our duty to them. God watches us to see if we are strong enough to give them this how hard it sometimes can be though! It just needs to be done.

Spankings hère don't come alone. It includes prayers and bible study and showing remorse. It's a bit long to totally describe though

Just a few questions:
How do you guys feel about leaving bruises?
We have a few implements hanging in our house to help as a reminder, what do you guys use?

Amen Brother Elmer. The divorce rate in God's country has been an embarrassment for many decades now. Landover University has devoted some advanced study to the subject of Domestic Discipline. Spankings are necessary to punish or discourage nascent feminine misbehavior, provide a reminder of the woman's responsibilities, and enhance feminine submission. Where serious infraction occur, a full-fledged punishment spanking, where she is scolded, stripped and spanked to tears, is necessary for correction. Often times only a minor disciplinary session is required to correct minor examples of feminine misbehavior without having to go through the entire, lengthy process of a punishment spanking. Husbands should also establish a regular Maintenance Discipline schedule where she is given reminder spankings at set intervals to remind her of her obedience duties, the corrective authority of her husband, and other responsibilities as a female. And lastly there is Preemptive Discipline, which is to be given when there are early warning signs of incipient feminine misbehavior. These ultimately spare women from the pain of undergoing the more extensive punishment spanking and contribute to her personal development.

Srry for invading on the men's page, but I noticed this article while I was looking around the site. I understand where you're coming from, but about 1 yr. ago I was in an abusive relationship, granted the guy was not a christian but he seemed perfectly nice when I met him. Then he was out drinking one night and I yelled at him A LOT! He beat me for talking back to him! But, it was much different than what you guys are talking about. He punched me with all his strength several times in the stomach and knocked me in the head until I became dizzy. So I panicked and fought back-I knocked blood out of his mouth. Then he held me down and cracked my ankle bone. It still hurts and is slightly damaged until this day, because he wouldn't let me go to the dr. for it! Anyway, the question I'm trying to get to is: Even though you discipline your women you surely don't believe in this type of violence do you? *Not an insult, just a question* And was it wrong of me to fight him back? I don't think it was. I just don't see how your girlfriends/wives allow this cause just suffering an abusive relationship, I would be scared out of my wits to willingly let a man hurt me in ANY way.

I believe they could. But that doesn't make it right. I was raised around boxing my whole life. Some men in my family fought their way up to golden gloves. My being a woman was no exception. My male cousins and older brother always treated me like one of the boys growing up. They included me in their rough games and trained me in self defense, martial arts, streetfighting, boxing, and kickboxing. I've never won the golden gloves, but I've got several awards

You are so lucky he is a forgiving weak backed man. I would (nor would any decent, caring True Christian(tm)) not of put up with one second of a female back-sassing me.
The pain you still have is Gods way of punishing and reminding you to keep your place or next time it will be worse.
When I was a young man of 19, my wife had a terrible episode one night. I sat there, reading my KJV and she went off on her tantrum. My father told me women sometimes do this and that it was due to their inferior minds. In the morning, I sat at the table waiting for my breakfast. after an hour or so when nothing appeared, I went looking for her. I could not find her. Her purse was still in the house. Several months later when doing some hunting, I noticed the top to one of the closed off wells had been moved. She was at the bottom of the well. God had put her there. There were claw marks on the walls, her toes and fingers ground down from trying to scratch her way out. What a terrible way to go. She was, like most women, soulless and is in Hell know, paying the price for her wildness.

Well there's your problem dear. If you had the Spirit of Christ in your soul, you'd never even think about yelling at him. I've never yelled at Mr. Etheldreda. Even when he comes home smelling of bourbon, cigar, and perfume, I know the LORD has a reason and He is sovereign. Occasionally my dear husband brings home guests unexpectedly and I'm compelled to treat them as I would any family - making room at the dinner table, making up the spare bedroom (my husband converted the basement years ago - it's quite comfortable down there now I hear but I'm not allowed as he calls it his "man cave" ). Some women might be angry and having to accommodate a sudden house guest, some women might feel upset that their husbands spend hours witnessing to guests in the comfort of the man cave rather than spend the evening with his family. Some women may even feel betrayed enough to yell or fight back, but those women don't have the Spirit of God in their souls. I have no desire to "fight back" as I know my husband is a devout and True Christian™ who is only doing the Work of the LORD.

I just worried about him driving drunk. He could have killed himself and/or someone else. Plus it was making him sick with the medicine he took. It clearly said not to take with alcohol on the back. I was worried about him. Not to mention although it made him sick he continued to drink. He couldn't really admit he had a problem.

His only problem seems to be a wife that doesn't know her place. If he beat her up until she becomes silent and obedient, as God demands, his life will be a lot better.

It is not your place to ever tell a man what to do. Instead, you should have bail cash and a juicy steak as well as a cool beverage waiting for him when he gets home. You should not meddle in a mans life. He has to deal with the complexities of life, things you simply would never understand.
He did not want to admit he had a problem because he was sparing your feelings. He sounds like a really terrific loving and caring guy. You need to appreciate him more.

God is sovereign. Do you know what that means? It means He is in control of all things, even the trajectory of an automobile on a dark night after the driver has passed out. Should someone get hit, it was simply because this was their time, as decided by the LORD. Don't worry about your man, dear, worry about God. By that I mean, stop nagging your man and start praying to the LORD to please Him through pleasing your husband.
