Why do I need to quote scripture to know Skyrim is pure evil? God gave a mind and a sense of right or wrong, did He not? The Bible isn't some magical incantation we have to recite to damn or purify things.

Ive been reading a lot of the video game threads and Im worried. Some of the games are ones I really like particularly Oblivion. U say its evil and I believe u so Ive taken all my games outside to the firepit in our yard and burned them.
Im really looking forward to playing Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim which is from the same ppl who made Oblivion and Im wondering if it will be evil too. If it is should I avoid buying it at all or should I buy it then play it for a bit to confirm its evil then burn it to.
Im praying on this but I hope u can help me find an answer before it comes out later this year.

Skyrim has a "god-fearing" setting. My cousin (who works at the company making it) was part of the team that installed it. It's part of a new generation of games that not only remove the excessive violence and sexual material in video games, but do in fact support the Bible and its teachings through modified gameplay. The voice actors recorded secondary material to be used if the player chose to play the "god-fearing" version. In it, for example, women are no longer ever warriors, and the dragons are clearly the enemy, commanded by Lucifer himself. The mythology of the "gods" is replaced with scripture and from what my cousin tells me, it was surprisingly easy to improve the game in this way for pious gamers. I haven't seen it yet, so I can't truly tell you if it's evil or not, but I would wait until you've seen it before deciding. This setting is REVOLUTIONARY and could pave the way for true Christians being able to enjoy another medium of entertainment with which God has blessed us.

Oh. Ok I will definitely avoid this game. My salvation and finding a good Christian wife who will do whatever I tell her are very important to me and I really don't want to screw that up. Thank u all for ur help with setting me on the straight and narrow.

I got skyrim on launch day, which also happens to be my birthday <3 It's so wonderful. I play a stealth oriented female ******* and married an *****, which sadly can't help me in my travels of shoving ***** up bitches' **** because they didn't include the piffleing sound files for the female **** follower lines :C It's worth 6$. It sounds to me like you've been playing too many games. Maybe it's time to take a break and praise Jesus for once. Jesus died only temporarily and there was only one of Him to come back.

Definitely buy this game, oblivion was epic this is even more epic!!! slaying dragons, killing whoever you like. This game is the beast I have played it for hours and it's amazing!!!

I don't hate Jesus, I don't understand Jesus. Also I enjoy playing games, I can draw a line on what is a good game and what should be banned because of them being too wicked to play. Also I don't believe that much in Jesus and God because that is how I have been brought up and whenever I walk past the church in my village there is usually some sort of event to take away my money.
