It has been revealed to me that Octavia is not really interested in the Bible in any way other than when it backs up the lusts of her own heart. She's a cherry-picker who can't even answer a simple question like this. Watch and learn.

How do you discern which bits of the Bible God really meant? What is your thought process? Was Jesus actually and quite literally born of the Holy Spirit by a virgin and then died temporarily on the cross before ascending to Heaven and how do you know?

What you will see, Brother, is a complete sham or some diversionary drivel, or nothing at all. All Octavia is here for is to sow dissension and doubt and tempt the inquisitive away from our message of the comprehensive love of Jesus as actually revealed in the Holy Bible

It weighs heavily on my heart that this one is still a lost soul, Brother R.P. I take some small comfort in knowing that several people on this Godly forum have done their absolute best to convince this harlot to repent, though it was to no avail.

Still, I will pray for her blackened soul that even if she never feels the warmth of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, coming into her, that the fires of hell may burn a little less hot for her.

Well, that is one issue that I and others that I talk with have a problem with sometimes.

Sometimes God gives it to you straight, and it's easy to see what he is saying. Other times, like in Revelations, we have absolutely no idea, so we see them as metaphors possibly.

No you can't. I believe every word of the Bible, just like every TRUE Christian(tm). Name one verse that I don't follow. I don't wear mixed fibers. I sold my daughter into marriage against her will. I don't associate with non-Christians except to proselytize. I follow the Bible to the letter. You, on the other hand, obey only those parts that you are comfortable with as a modern secular moralist. The rest you write off as a mysterious metaphor. And you can't even justify yourself to us. You should be ashamed of yourself, and terrified of your eternal fate.

If He is GOD, He ought to be able to make us able to understand without having to resort to childish things like fables.

Surely the most important book of all time, the book of GOD which can save your soul, ought to speak forthrightly and clearly.

I think that he wants us to actually think about it and talk with other people about it. Trying to figure out what he is saying can bring people closer together and their faith will grow stronger.

If He is GOD, He ought to be able to make us able to understand without having to resort to childish things like fables.

If he is God, he could also take away all this scientific evidence against him. He could make sure we know he exists without any doubt in our minds.

Besides, there's nothing childish about fables.

Once again this is all based entirely on your own opinion. All of it. You just dreamed it up because it's how you feel. That means you're just making God up in your own image and if everyone is free to do that then there are billions of Gods in everyone's hearts so why have a God at all? Everyone is just following their conscience and may as well be secular. You may as well be a foul atheist!

This does not explain the Bible and why God felt the need to tell us all exactly how He felt to thwart false prophets such as you.
