Yes, "cornflakes" appears to be quite insane.

He "believes strongly" in Darwinian evolution, yet hasn't the foggiest idea what it is or means, and refuses to learn about it.

Oh, you know - Chinese, Roman and Indian documents and lecterns. You know, writings that have just as much purported evidence as the writings that were used to compile the Bible (which were passed on orally for several hundred years, I might add).

Do tell, which ones are those? These Chinese, Roman, and Indian documents you cite which purportedly tell of Jesus.

And you may wish to Google the Dead Sea Scrolls, which contain the bulk of the Bible and are dated to a range of dates from 150 BC to 70 AD.

Because the origin of species explained all of evolution. Darwin's research was a gateway, nothing more. Just like Watson and Crick found the shape and structure of DNA, nobody gives them credit for the manufacturing of the human genome though.

Tell me this then, if Darwin explained everything about evolution: how did non-life suddenly "decide" to become life?? Did a rock wake up one day and decide to grow legs? It's a simple question that Darwin himself acknowledged was a huge hole in his so-called "theory". And did you know that Darwin even recanted on his deathbed and accepted Jesus as his Savior? The liberal media isn't quite so quick to spout out that little tidbit, is it?

And I am glad that you recognize Darwin's theory for what it is: a gateway. Just like a "gateway" drug that leads a person down the path to drug addiction, so does this "gateway" science -- it leads a person away from God and towards a life of debauchery and sin.

I'd say the oral transition for hundreds of years sits on its own accord. I've never even managed to flawlessly complete a game of Telephone in a classroom setting, much less likely to accomplish it over millions of people over miles of land in hundreds of years.

Just because you fail to repeat a simple sentence doesn't mean that other people cannot. Clearly you have trouble with basic logic, so I don't think that you're exactly a specimen to compare to the general population.

There's one source of information, another rather famous Roman apostate, Julian. You can Google him at 'Julian the apostate' - here's a short excerpt from Merril F. Unger, the New Unger's Bible Dictionary -1988 p.231

"There is absolutely no known record of evidence that Jesus was "enrolled as one of Caesar's subjects," unless it was at the time which Julian affirms. Someone doesn't know how to put stress on a word for sarcasm. He might have accepted Christ as his savior, but that's because he doesn't know as much as we do now. Every day new discoveries are made, hell people have created life based on prehistoric Earth conditions.

And the link you provide accuses Julian of forgery. It's a book by Bart Erhman, a Jew who hates Jesus and works to discredit the New Testament.

Do you even know who Claude E. Shannon was? His work had nothing to do with biology, or evolution for that matter. He was in communications...

What do you think information is (in Shannon's sense)? Go on: Indouble dare you to show where Shannon said new information could be added to the system without an intelligent agency (God).
