Re: Wedding Dress DONT'S & DO'S
Sister, while those dresses could be pretty by some, I would suggest looking again dear. After all, we don't want to be sending the wrong message.
The problem with the first one was that besides the obvious issues you pointed out, it drew far too much attention to your bosom, which only a harlot does. Since you aren't, I strongly recommend you to stay away from that dress. The second one looks ivory (I'm sure you are a virgin, Esther) and it also has a low neckline. The third has a low neckline and is too translucent to really be considered modest. I'm sorry dear to have killed your ideas, but we really should obey Scripture.
1 Timothy 2:9 says "- In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array"
1 Peter 3:3-4 says "Whose adorning let it not be that outward [adorning] of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; 4 But [let it be] the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, [even the ornament] of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price."
Proverbs 31:30 says "Favour [is] deceitful, and beauty [is] vain: [but] a woman [that] feareth the LORD, she shall be praised."
Obviously you want to be in obedience to the Word of God, so here are some dresses that my husband and I looked over. We like these.
Yours in Christ,
Elizabeth

The so called "designers" really need to learn that too much of a good thing is not a good thing.
