I don't understand you people....
The flag was so not icelandic, there are no eskimos (they actually don't like to be called that anymore than black people like to be called negros) in iceland, they live in Greenland.
And it's also in Greenland where you'll find all the ice, Iceland is all green during the summer (except for the beautiful glacior we have), and we live in houses.
About the economy....well it is what it is.
But hopefully we will learn something from it

I haven't read all of this, but enough though. There is too much hate and anger going on here.
I will say that I am Icelandic and I call myself a christian, but like so many people I don't really do much more than that. I haven't read the bible, but I do have it. Always wanted to read it, but I'm maybe scared of what I will find in there. If it is anything like what I see here, then I don't think I want to destroy what I already belief.
I always thought that being christian was about being understanding, forgiving, kind and good. Show love and care for others and so one.
I see nothing like that in here...

look at iceland in google earth.. only about 1/12 th of iceland in the summer time is ice. AND most time in winter, we have rain. there has been about 1 and a half week all winter that we have had a chance to go skiing.. probably less than in wyoming ?
and fail on the flag, though we love norway doesn't meen we have to have the same flag

You just proved my point, about a minute after I posted my last post which only included facts I got a warning message, if you believe so strongly and know so much you should know that 1/(i think it was 100.000) people will go to heaven according to the bible.
If you look at the register user count you'll see that each and everyone on this forum will go to hell, statistically that is.

More about that warning message I got, if you think you have the right to say those things about my country which I btw. am proud of being a part of, it should give me right to flame you!

It is pretty well documented that the Bible is written by humans, edited by humans, translated from greek, hebrew and arameic by humans.

True, there are a lot of flawed versions. There is only 1 perfect version, the KJV1611 Holy Bible. That is the one you need to read if you want absolute perfection.

I'm not usually the person to start arguments (it can happend), well "continue" in this case, but I respect that people have beliefs but in some case it can be to extreme and people need to control their own lives instead of following "rules" that written by man way to long ago.

I have one thing left to say, how about you look at your own country before you start to judge other countries, USA f.x.?
