As explained to you in detail, if he truly repented and accepted Jesus as his personal Saviour he goes to heaven. Good people, like us, goes to heaven. If your friend does not follow God, he is a bad person. Bad persons does not go to heaven, they go to hell.

It's an apples and oranges thing. You're asking if your friend is a good person. We're answering as per the Bible. No he isn't because he doesn't believe in God.

I'm sure your friend is pleasant to be in the company of and makes you feel nice. Lots of bad people are good at making you feel nice like drug dealers and agents of Satan.

So if you think someone who makes you feel nice and does things you think of as kind is a good person then this is why our answers are confusing you.

Sadly, Jesus hates you both because you don't believe in him therefore you are bad people. It cuts no ice with God; no belief means eternal damnation.
