Really???
Lets say he is a boxer and you help him train. You use pads he punching on but accidentily miss and hit you. Is that reason enough to kill him?
There can be many reasons. Accident is one, and it can happen in many ways.

So if your newborn son hit you in your face you slam him in the nearest wall?

Friend, there is no such thing as 'accidents'. Gods will makes many things happen, many of of which,we do not know why He made them happen and if God chooses not to tell us, we have no need to know. However, God does expect us to follow the Bible and not to question Him. So if God teells us to lill another, it is for good reason.
Why must you people fail to understand that God knows better than everyone?

Well first of all this must be the first time i see anything that say its wrong to hit a woman from a christian.
And secondly... lets just say that if you kill your son (what happens if its your daughter?) he wont really lern the lesson, because he CANT make it again. There are many ways to teach your kids lessons and let them live so they WONT do it again.

Just the fact that christians think its right to kill your own family is one of the reasons you make me sick.

And secondly... lets just say that if you kill your son (what happens if its your daughter?) he wont really lern the lesson, because he CANT make it again. There are many ways to teach your kids lessons and let them live so they WONT do it again.

Just the fact that christians think its right to kill your own family is one of the reasons you make me sick.

Take it up with God, friend. If you bring your kids up right by teaching them not to raise a hand to their parents by beating the bad out of them then they decide to attack you anyway, knowing that the punishment for doing so is death then where's the problem? It's not like you suddenly spring it on them like, "Aha! Now here's the surprise you didn't know. I get to kill ya!"

You spend years teaching them properly that if thy step out of line there is a God-sanctioned hierarchy of violence including summary execution if they won't buckle down and behave. Of course nowadays we aren't allowed to kill them.

This is what's wrong with the world today.

You can't cherrypick the Bible. The following is what it says about stubborn and rebellious sons - anything in it you have difficulty understanding?

Deuteronomy 21:17-19

18If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, which will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and that, when they have chastened him, will not hearken unto them:

19Then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place;

Well friend, I'd say if the child cannot repeat bad behavior, the lesson is learned isn't it?
Now, I certainly would not kill a child the first time she made an error. Possibly even the second time. But truth be told, you cannot let them get away with wild behavior forever. I want my children to be able to go to Heaven. They have to follow the Word of God as is written in the Bible. Otherwise, what chance have they? I would be negligent as a parent if I ignored my kids.

Why must you constantly act as if we come up with our own opinions on what is right and proper? True Christians™ take all their morals from God. When we finally achieve Christian government then God's laws will once again be the law of the land.

Decisions like whether or not children should be executed can not be left to mere men to decide. God knows best.

There are many ways a man might think of as "solving the problem" but only the ones endorsed by God can ever be right.

Friend, my opinion means nothing. I simply follow Gods Word. I suggest you re-read what I have written to you and do not cherry pick words, like the Bible, you must read every bit and absorb it all.
I will say, the fear of God causing a person to die has a powerful effect on their behavior. There are not atheists in foxholes friend. With a child, merely showing them graphic pictures of the destruction God can dole out on the little bones of a child is often all they need. If the child is particularly dense, mere explanations may not be enough and the rod is needed. This is not what I want, I am a peaceful man, it is what God wants. Who am I to second guess Him?

True, death may appear to be a radical and extreme measure, but one must coolly consider we are talking about the hereafter. Damnation is for eternity. So something that extreme justifies heroic measures to prevent it from happening.

I think it's say that rebellion against one parent's is the gateway sin to worse behavior like homosexuality and abortions. I think if a parent if faced with that they are justified in resorting to Biblical measures as disused here to shut down the sin cycle in the child.
