  • Primer on the laughably fake religion Zoroastrianism

According to Wikipedia, Zoroastrianism is a religion dating back 4000 years. The central deity is Ahura Mazda ("Lord of Wisdom") who is in constant conflict with his negative counterpart Angra Mainyu ("The Destructive Spirit"), who is also a deity but not as powerful as Ahura Mazda.

The religion takes its name from the prophet Zoroaster in ancient Persia, whose name can be loosely translated as "camel rider" or "camel jockey". At the age of thirty, he experienced a revelation on the river bank where he saw a shining Being, who revealed himself to Zoroaster and taught him about the dualistic nature of reality.

His teachings challenged the prevailing religious traditions of animal sacrifice and use of hallucinogenic plants and inaugurated a movement that became the dominant religion in Ancient Persia. The Zoroastrian belief includes the concept of the end of the world.

At the end, there will be a great battle between the forces of good and those of evil in which the good will triumph. On earth, the Saviour will bring about a resurrection of the dead. This is followed by a last judgment through ordeal. The forces of good will cause the metal in the mountains to melt, and to flow across the earth like a river. All mankind - both the living and the resurrected dead - will be required to wade through that river, but for the righteous it will seem to be a river of warm milk, while the wicked will be burned.
Why am I telling you all this?

Because I want wavering false Christians (Forum Members, Unsaved Trash, etc.) to see the dangerous claims of false religions that try to deceive you. With practice you can easily tell the difference between the laughable Creation myths of fake religions and the pristine Truth of Jesus contained in The Bible. Then you may be ready to be a True Christian.
If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

Zoroastrianism is one of the false religions which pre-stole Christian ideas. Whether it is the judgement after death and deity's death and resurrection (pre-stolen by Egypt) or Armageddon/Judgement Day (pre-stolen not only by Zarathustra but by many other false cults as well), it's just horrible, how shameless these pagans were.

Are you sure that's a real religion? That doesn't sound real to me...

It was real alright, and it even contaminated early Christianity (manicheism, gnosticism). Good thing that early Christians who were in charge of things were level-headed and killed off all these heretics and their families.

Re: Primer on the laughably fake religion Zoroastrianism

If this Zoroastria business is only 4000 years old, it came into being some 2000 years after Creation. I should imagine that this was roughly the time of the Tower of Babel. You can see what happened: there was a large, non-unionized workforce of men aged between 12 and 26 who were all in the process of learning about God, when suddenly, they woke up one morning and were all speaking different languages.

It takes little imagination to realize that the first thing that they would do is go off to church to seek the wisdom of their Pastor. But, O horror of horrors! Although he would have the answer, they could not understand him. There followed a period of confusion as the men and their families sorted themselves out into groups that had roughly the same language, e.g. American and Australian, or Chinese and Japanese, and general Jibber-Jabber for the Darkies, etc.

Once the initial emergency arrangements had been made, the business of remembering as much as they could about God was their priority. It is at this time that many people simply got the wrong idea and started making stuff up: you can see it in the explanation of the End of Days! It’s nearly right… but not quite.

PS. Is it just me, or do “Angra Mainyu” and “Ahura Mazda” sound like Pokemon characters?

If I may, I have to admit I don’t have the time or desire to read anything that isn’t The KJV Bible so I’ll just ask the scholar directly. Is this the secret cult I keep hearing about that includes democrats who rape children underneath pizza parlors? It certainly sounds like something Chuck Jewmer and Shillary Clinton would be involved in if so.

Mr. Rutherford, I'm not a professional scholar but I do dabble after drinking scotch so thank you for the compliment. My impression is that the Zoroastrianists, although deluded by Satan, do not deliberately worship him unlike the Demoncrats you mentioned. But I'll step aside and let the real experts like Mrs. Basilissa and the Pastors give you the real lowdown.

Oh! Me, an expert? If didn't know you better I'd think you're flirting with me, Dr. Toole!

Anyway. I don't know too much about the cult of the democrats, but I take most of them to be Psalm 14:1 type of people. And maybe some pastafarians and vegan gluten free spiritual wiccans - or whatever is the currently most woke name for the New Age crap.

Zoroastrianism goes back 4,000 years? Back then people were still learning about God. Now, in 2020 we have an understanding of what God means by sin and we know our obligation to call out sinners. The ancients were still trying to figure this out back then.

We now know that those who worshipped Zoro were sinners and are in Hell.

Do we know that this Zoroaster even existed? All of the original sources for his life were written by Zoroastrians centuries after his death. It takes a special kind of stupidity to accept something like that without question.

You're lucky you live in the Godly United States of America. In some countries they put Christianity in the same category as JOKE religions like Zoroastrianism and Pastafarianism. Anyone caught worshipping God is sentenced to the gulag although - to be fair - regular life in most countries is a gulag compared to America so most of them probably don't notice if they're being punished or enjoying their best possible life. How would they know unless we told them, right?

How does this manifest in the modern era? Through the arts [(Bosch) (Goya) (Picasso) (Munch)] and through costume [(Nijinsky) (Mercury)] and dramatic technique [(Jonson's "The Alchemist") (Shakespeare's "Richard III")] and satire [(Aristophanes' "Thesmophoriazusae") (Jarry's "Ubu Cocu")] and on and on. Satan never knows when to stop.

Jesus always knows when to start.
Perhaps I'm getting away from the topic which is Zoroastrianism and its concept of two principals in the world.
                          Let's take costume.

The theme develops rapidly. The costume is explicit. Two principles are operating here and, as every Christian knows, each has its own principal the one of light and the other of darkness. Here we see Mercury, a Zoroastrian, developing his theme to equate light with darkness where both will be champions.

Genesis 1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

The arts, so called, desire to combine these two whether in costume or melodic progression or psychedelic lighting or leaping pouncing ballet stars, eventually reality prevails. The two principles will lose their stars and only one principal will remain.

I Peter 5:8-11 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
