  • Would You Fire Someone For Refusing To Wear A “666″ Sticker?

A Georgia factory worker is claiming he was fired for refusing to wear a sticker celebrating how many days the plant had been accident-free.

Billy E. Hyatt is now suing his former employer for religious discrimination: He could not wear the number 666 because it’s the Mark of the Beast in Revelations.

Hyatt worked on the extrusion line, making flexible packing products for Pliant Corp, which is now called Berry Plastics Corp.

“Plaintiff’s sincere religious belief as a Christian is that he should not wear any depiction of the number ’666′ as this number is a representation of Satan and/or that this number is the ‘sign of the beast,’” reads the complaint, filed in federal court. “This belief is based on Revelation 13:18 of the Holy Bible which says that ’666′ is the mark of the beast.”

Continues the complaint: “Plaintiff['s] sincere religious belief is that to wear the number 666 would be to accept the Mark of the Beast and be condemned to hell.”

But the plant reached 666 accident-free days in a row on March 12, 2010. Hyatt asked his boss for “religious accommodation,” but the boss said “that he was not going to change the safety calendar, that Mr. Hyatt’s religious beliefs were ridiculous, and that Mr. Hyatt could go to work with a ’666′ on his safety sticker or face a three (3) day suspension.”

Hyatt said he accepted the three-day suspension, but when he returned to work on March 17 he was fired.
You’re a Christian, so obviously the answer is “NO, I would fire someone if they DID wear 666!”

But what this piece of typical Atheist persecution tells us is that Satan is alive and well and in Georgia, from where, in all probability, Armageddon will arise.

I’ll be looking for Prayer Warriors to pray that “the boss” sees the Light of Jesus and if he doesn’t work, Bobby Joe and the Boys can give him a personal prayer session.

How ridiculous! Some people have a lot of nerve. This isn't just some old superstition. This is written in the Holy Book!

      Quoted for the truth!!

I can see firing someone over silly superstitions that cause their performance to be affected:

*They refuse to walk under a ladder
*they refuse to walk on a crack for fear of breaking their mothers back
*They run out of the work area because of a black cats
*They see a rainbow, and run off looking for a pot of gold.

Firing someone for observing the INFALLIBLE Word of God? It is heresy! I'll pray that boss gets brain cancer just like I prayed Ted Kennedy would get it.
-Every young man's battle - PORN AND MASTURBATION![/SIZE]
-DISOWN your ATHEIST children - just like this good mother did!!

-FINALLY!! Some rights for the rapists!!
-There is no such thing as animal abuse!!
-Pregnancy through RAPE is a GIFT from God
-Keep the Fags out of the Boy Scouts!!
-WIVES!! Stay in your abusive relationship!

STOP, DROP & ROLL DOESN'T WORK IN HELL!!!!

        This entire thing is ridiculous.

        1. Why is their boss even requiring factor workers to wear such a sticker in the first place? It isn't like these people are going to be on television, they're just working in a factory.

        2. What harm would have come by having this worker take the sticker off? It isn't like it would have reduced his productivity.

        3. Why would he say the penalty was only a 3 day suspension, and then fire the worker? If he was going to fire him, shouldn't the boss have said that from the start? This is like a police officer telling you breaking a law will have a small fine, then you break it, and there is a death sentence.

The boss was being completely unreasonable here. What's next? Bosses asking their employees to wear demon horns and tails? Bosses asking their employees to sacrifice children?
Close minded people are just right people who don't want to spend time arguing.

Clearly because he hates Jesus and America.

Exactly, people from Georgia are known not to be productive anyway.

Why would he say the penalty was only a 3 day suspension, and then fire the worker?
          Clearly because he worships Satan.

Well, we are talking about Georgia here, so none of that would surprise me.

            It's fairly obvious.

            3 days
            Three 6's
            3 and 6 are 36
If you add up the numbers from 1 to 36 what do you get? 666
And what happened at he conclusion of these three 6's? He was fired.
Fire, as in the fires of hell.

Satanists are known to use such codes to place curses on people. You have to be careful around satanist and watch what they say; atheists especially. The curse clearly worked as the man lost his job. And that's probably just the start of his problems. I am going to pray for this man and dissolve the machinations of Satan. I hope you'll all join me in vanguishing this curse from that poor man being victimized under the Obama administration's anti-biblical watch.

I'd "fire" the folks who chose to wear such a badge, with a mixture of gun cotton and gasoline: were I not bound by secular law.

It reminds me of an incident this morning, with a messican laborer.

Actually, that is probably best left for another time.
