Medical problems aren't caused by demons! They are caused by GOD as punishment, according to his Holy Word, The Bible.

This is one of literally dozens of references (book of Exodus, book of Job, etc.).

The intention of these multiple references is very clear. God punishes the sinful with illness.

Hebrews and Romans make it abundantly clear that under God's new covenant, the Old Testament was "fulfilled." Why cling to the old law written in stone when God has given us a new law written in our hearts? Further, there is no account of Jesus ever healing a leper and telling him to burn his clothes.

So is God punishing her somehow? Clearly, yes. John 9:31 tells us that God only answers the prayers of the righteous. Since he did NOT save this girl's hands, despite "prayers every day," the proof of unrighteousness is before our eyes.

The verse provided does not prove that God grants every request of every righteous believer.

So I pray that God's intentions are put to their end and that her doctors cease all treatment. God will cure her if he wants to. Job 1:21.

So you're saying we should let everything happen as it should? Why pray then? What about Genesis 18:23-33 or 2 Samuel 12:15-22? Clearly, God wants us to ask Him for things--Jesus especially made it a big deal.

But Jesus himself is clear in Matthew 5:18 that the Jewish law stands. See also James 2:14-26.

I do not disagree: every evil thing in this Earth is a direct result of man's sin. However, in the case of the blind man in John 9:1-4, Jesus tells His disciples that He is blind not because of either his or his parents' sins, but so that "the works of God might be displayed in him." Jesus then healed the man. I wonder how the story might have been different if Jesus condemned the man, saying, "you've been blind for a long time, so God must really hate you," and moved on? Also read Matthew 5:45.

I am speaking of Jeremiah 31:31-34; Matthew 5:21-39, 40-48; Romans 8:1-4; Galatians 3:11-25; Galatians 3:24-26; Galatians 4:1-2, 4-5, and 9-11; 1 Corinthians 5:7-8; and Hebrews 7:19. The Law was meant to show us our need for a Savior. For if we could be justified through the Law, what need was there for Jesus to give His life?

Further, do you ever wear clothes made of more than one fabric (Leviticus 19:19) or cut your hair or shave (Leviticus 19:27)? If so, you transgress the law yourselves. What is your defense for following only part of the Law?

I brought up 2 Samuel 12:22 because David, knowing God's heart, believed that he could possibly change God's choice of wrath, not unlike Abraham did. It ended up the same in the end, but like David said: "Who knows?" Can you back up your point--that this woman's disease is a direct result of her own sin and it would be against God to pray against it--with Scripture? How do you know this is God's will?

I also read in the rules that you all believe in 100% literal translations of the Bible: "as a child would read it." I'm curious how children would interpret any of Jesus' parables? In Matthew 13:10-17, Jesus told His disciples why He spoke in parables: the Pharisees wanted to take everything literally, but it was given to His disciples understood the "mysteries of the kingdom of heaven." Also consider 1 Corinthians 2:14. I could be wrong, but I don't think the Bible was meant to be taken literally in every passage.
